Go Princess Precure Ep 34 Top 3 Moments and Review: A Smile is a Woman's weapon!

Gokigenyou! This is my review of Go Princess Precure episode 34 and today Haruka entered a beauty contest to gather a lead on Kanata.

No 3: The Chocolate Princess Contest!

After using the star fortune app on the Princess pad, the lead to find Kanata was the word "Chocolate". Kirara came back with some gifts from her job and it is happen to be an entry form for the upcoming Chocolate Princess Contest!

Haruka's picture is cute and funny!

Kirara suggested that Haruka entered the competition and she agreed to since this is the only lead to find Kanata. (Although personally, I rather think that Minami, Towa or even Kirara will make better entries but Haruka is the main lead so the responsibility is on her. But then the other three girls will probably win the contest hands down.)

No 2: Kirara's Special Beauty Contest Training!

Haruka was selected for the contest (Though the picture she send has doubts if the judges will really looking for) and Kirara began training her on how to parade in the runaway during the contest. Haruka managed to get through it but her make up skills was horrible that Kirara offered to do her make up on the actual day despite having a modeling job before that.

Does Kirara remind you of an 80s rock singer? (Cyndi Lauper anyone?)

Later, Haruka watched Kirara doing one of her modeling job and was amazed by her level of profession and improvise to make her job a success one. Kirara explained to her that sometimes her job can be unpredictable but keep calm and do what one can. Her advice to Haruka is to always smile no matter during the runaway.

No 1: Always Smile!

On the actual day of the contest, Kirara's job was delayed by rain while Haruka has problems with her dress and make up. Stop and Freeze appeared and turned Kirara's make up staff into a Zetsuborg. Kirara, Minami and Towa has to handle the Zetsuborg on their own as Haruka was worried of her performance.

Finally Haruka managed to improvise her dress and gave the best smile for the judges to see. After the contest, she arrived and together with the other three, defeated the Zetsuborg.

The prize giving person is the Chocolate Prince?!

Although Haruka didn't win the contest, she got a special prize from the judges which she too was surprised about it. After the contest, the girls wondered why the lead is "Chocolate" Haruka suddenly saw a familar figure on the street and realised it was Kanata but lose of him...

This episode felt some kinda of a filler except the last scene of finding Kanata walking in the streets. Like Minami's previous episode, it also show how much Kirara has developed from the first episode. From being unsociable to her peers due to her modelling job, Kirara has to thank Haruka and Minami for bringing her to the world of Precures.

It is a good thing since Kirara is the street smart one and she is able to make Towa who is a spolit princess into a more reliable person. Although she follow her own pace, she never make a big fuss about anything and from this episode, she is able to take care of herself during her job and got praises from her manager and working staff.

Haruka also learned some tips during the beauty contest since Kirara is battling the Zetsuborg with the others. From making her skirt shorter (By using gum tapes) and giving one great smile for the judges. It was worth it despite her getting a consolation prize and not winning the contest.

Overall, I gave this episode a C plus. The last scene with Kanata is shocking for everyone but it seems next week episode, the girls finally found Kanata however he has no memories of them at all! Can the girls make him remember who he is? Find out next week in the next episode! Gokigenyou!

Go Princess Precure Ep 33 Top 3 Moments and Review: Please Teach me, Miss Shamour!

Gokigenyou! This is my review of Go Princess Precure episode 33 and today Miss Shamour is about to teach some new lessons for the girls!

No 3: Shamour took a reborn Kuroro (Lock) out to town!

During the girls' lessons with Shamour, they discovered that Lock now called Kuroro has awakened. However he was too scared to interact with anyone. Later, Shamour took him out to town and the girls were worried that they might got lost.

However Shamour was pretty good in guiding Kuroro to re-acquaint to a normal life. From buying things to performing a side show, the girls were impressed about her. Later, Shamour introduced Kuroro to a bunch of cats whom she has make friends with.

They even get into a little contest to see who can dress up Kuroro and a black cat with some help from the girls. After the contest, Shamour treated them to tea and in which Kuroro enjoyed the donuts made by her. She then told him that everyone is happier when eating good food.

No 2: Let Miss Shamour teach you some manners!

Wrap Cure Mermaid up, you pervert eel!

Shut appeared and turned the black cats into Zetsuborg (All are different species of fishes!) While the girls were occupied, Shut tried to attack Yui and the two mascots. But Shamour took him on and he was amazed by her elegance.

Shamour knew that Shut has worries in his heart and instead used her teaching to make him better. (By giving him a makeover!) Everyone were speechless by her actions however Shamour told the girls that they are princesses and should fight like one. The girls then knew what to do and defeated the Zetsuborg easily.

Congrats! Shut, you get a point from Miss Shamour!

After the battle, Shamour told Kuroro who is grumbling of going back to Hope Kingdom that she too wanted to go back to Hope Kingdom but now she wanted to learn more of the human world so that when peace has finally returned, she can imparted her knowledge to everyone back home. Kuroro now understand better and decided to learn more which everyone were glad that he is more open now...

No 1: Kanata is in the human world?!

The cats thanked the girls for saving and presented with something they found. It was a button that belonged to the Hope Kingdom Royal Family. The girls then believed that Kanata has make it here and is somewhere in the city...

This episode is pretty interesting for the side characters as Shamour, Kuroro and even Shut got the spotlight. Shamour is probably one of the better side characters in Precure history. (Unlike a lame god from last season!)

Although she behaved like a bossy instructor but what she has taught the girls, Kuroro and Shut, has some reasons behind it. Her main motives is to let Kuroro re acquaint with his life since he lose his memories of him being Lock and probably has a sense of guilt for causing troubles to the girls. By letting him know that there is nothing to fear with her three lessons in the episode, Kuroro was able to take the first step in getting back to his life.

Hey everyone! It is the new Shut!!

Shut was being pushed around by Close and when Shamour commented on his bad make up, he started complaining of how he was getting no respect. Strangely enough, Shamour did not treated him as an enemy but rather as a person who is lost. With some make up, Shut actually gain some self confidence and didn't feel upset when he lost the battle. Guess up, he got a make over which got Close, Stop and Freeze wondering what has happened to him.

Of course, the last reveal of knowing that Kanata has make it to the human world. But where is he and why has he not contacted the girls? Overall, I gave this episode a B since it was nice to see some development for the side characters. Next episode, Haruka enter a beauty contest but she suffered stage fright! Can she overcome it? See you next week to find out!  Gokigenyou!

Autumn Anime 2015 Preview: Beware of the One Punch Man!

Hello everyone! This is my preview for the upcoming Autumn anime 2015 which begin this October! (Some of the series synopsis are taken from other sources)

Heavy Object: Objects are powerful, massive weapons that change the course of warfare and are manned by Elite Object pilots. An odd Elite girl named Milinda meets Quenser, a student who aims to become a Object mechanic, with the soldier-in-training Heivia on a snowy battlefield.

Anitore! EX: The anime follows five young women who are aiming to become idols as they do different exercise routines such as push-ups, situps, dance, yoga, stretching, Tai Chi, and more.

 

  



Pokémon XY&Z: Latest season of the Pokemon series based on the X and Y game series.

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!: Fourteen-year-old Komori Shuri is a junior high school girl who is too nice to decline requests. She constantly doing favors for other people and it suddenly granted her incredible strength!?

Sakurako is an extraordinarily beautiful woman in her mid-20s from a rich family who loves "beautiful bones." The two lived in the city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido, and they get involved in various incidents regarding bones.

Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou: A parody of the Attack on Titans as the characters are reduced to protect their school from the Titans who go around bullying them (and eating their lunches too!)

JK-Meshi!: Three high school girls learned some cooking in this slice of life comedy.

Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst: Second season of the action harem comedy about Basara who is a former Yuusha and his mission to protect his two adopted sisters who are demons.

Tantei Team KZ: Jiken Note: The stories center around Aya Tachibana, a sixth-grader who frets and obsessed over friends, family, grades, and more. One day, she joins the "Tantei Team KZ" (Detective Team Kazs) with four very idiosyncratic boys she met at cram school.

Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid: The "beautiful girl sexy battle action" anime is set on five artificial islands. Mamori is a "mermaid" transferred to one of those islands. When Mamori is attacked, a newly transferred girl named Mirei saves her. The enemy doesn't stop, however, and the two are soon cornered. Just when they think all hope is lost, Mirei kisses Mamori, and Mamori turns into a sword.

Hacka Doll the Animation: The anime personifies the app's customization engine as three "Hacka Dolls" - the personal entertainment AI and main navigator.

One Punch Man: Saitama looked like a normal person but in fact, he is a super hero and he can instantly kill any opponents with one punch no matter how big or strong. The only problem is no one take him seriously and prefer the more cooler and better looking heroes in the city...

Hidan no Aria AA: What happened when you replaced Kinji from the original series with a girl named Akira Mamiya who idolised Aria? Yuri scenes ensured!

Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai: The story is set in a world where people with magic powers are close to being wiped out. Just as the balance of power and military might had once shifted from swords to sorcery, it shifts once again to guns. Takeru Kusanagi goes to "Anti Magic Academy," a training facility for Inquisitors of Heretics who crack down on the dwindling threat posed by magic users.

So what are I am looking forward this October? Ore ga Ojou Sama which I am reading the manga and it is funny to see naive rich girls overreacting to simple things like Idols and fast food. One Punch Man is pretty funny since the least unexpected person is actually the strongest hero in the city.

Attack on Titans is a big hit around the world but this parody of them as cute students fending off Titans in school is kinda of a joke. But then AOT fans will take anything until an official second season is announced. I love the first Hidan no Aria series and was expecting more but now this AA series which is a "What if" scenario make me face palm. I will watch it but probably won't get hype over it.

I like the Garo anime that was aired a few months back despite how fans prefer live action of it. So this new Garo series which take place in Ancient Japan and a female Garo warrior might alienate fans further. But I don't really bother as long the story and action are good, it's fine by me.

I hope the new Gundam series will go back to being serious again after that train wreck called G-Recongista which I regard it as the worst Gundam series ever. It looked like the new series is more military theme which I prefer that although Gundam Barbatos doesn't look good looking for a main character Gundam.

The other shows that I am following like Owari no Serph, Fafner, Haikyu, Shimai Maou, Gochumon wa Usagi is a confirm yes for me. The rest of the shows, I will have to watch it first before I will follow it. Until then, see you in October for the new shows!
