Delicious Party Precure Ep 5 Review: Failure is the Mother of Salami?

Hi, Everyone! This is my short review of Episode 5 of Delicious Party Precure and today, Kokone is trying her best to her new friends.

This whole episode is about a misunderstanding between Kokone, Yui and Rosemary. Kokone who has never has had a friend before try her best to give a good impression to Yui and Rosemary. Unfortunately, she tried a bit too hard like giving beauty tips at the Pretty Holic store or making a blunder while cutting carrots. 

Even during the battle with the Ubauzo, Cure Spicy was trying to take down it by herself and seeing that the Ubauzo is filled with four soup fairies, she was out of her league until Cure Precious and Rosemary stop her recklessness. 

Cure Spicy admitted she does not want to show how weak or clumsy in front of her new friends but they told her it is okay to make mistakes and they did not mind how she acted before. Cure Precious even said that "Failure is the Mother of Salami" which confused everyone until Gentle (who was waiting for them to finish their talk) corrected her that it should be "Failure is the Mother of Success". Of course, the two girls finally work together and defeated the Ubauzo. After the battle, Kokone gave Rosemary lipstick as a gift and he in return gave her the same glass cup as Yui.

Although this episode is pretty straightforward in the main plot, I am actually more concerned about the introduction of the Head of the Student Council (Which she did not give her name) who address the school in the morning. She is also voiced by Kayano Ai who also voiced Gentle so if you put two and two together, we will know who Gentle really is. 

But then it is strange that Gentle who witness Yui and Kokone transform to Precure every episode might have guessed they are in the same school by now or it is just a red hearing by Toei to throw the viewers off. 

Takumi also appeared after last week's absence and he queried with Yui about Rosemary's intentions. Yui being Yui just pulled out an excuse that he is here as a tourist in town but I am thinking that Takumi might have already known what has been going on for the last few episodes and is waiting to make his move once our three main girls assembled.

Overall, this episode is all right but I am still wondering about the Student Council Head and Takumi's agenda with Rosemary. In the next episode, rumours about strange things going on in the home eco room led our two girls to investigate the disturbance. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
