Hi, Everyone! This is my short review of Episode 6 of Delicious Party Precure and a rumour of a "Monster" is spread in school today.
Before going to school, Kokone makes a large pile of sandwiches be shared with Yui for lunch today. Despite wanting to go, Kokone instructed Pam Chan to stay at home but she follow her to school anyway. Kokone was still treated like a princess by her peers and never got a chance to interact with her classmates.
Pam Chan who hide inside a kettle in the Home Eco classroom created a racket that caused a rumour of a "Monster" to spread in school. The Student Head, Kasai Amane informed the students that Recess time will be delayed for twenty minutes as the student council will perform their patrol first.
Yui and Kokone decided to investigate the rumour on their own and while the canteen staff were having their meal of fried Ebi, Gentle appeared to capture the Ebi fairy. The two girls spotted Gentle and she created a Ubauzo to attack the girls.
Kokone saw her classmates were afraid of the Ubauzo and they ran into a shed. The shed door was then damaged by the Ubauzo. Kokone tried to break open the shed door while Yui distracted the Ubauzo. After much effort, Kokone broke open the door and her classmates thanked her. She then joined back with Yui and Rosemary who brought along Kome Chan and Pam Chan and the girls transformed.
Although the Ubauzo attacked the girls with mini-tornadoes, Cure Spicy jumped into the centre of the tornadoes to avoid the attack and had Cure Precious use the wind direction to damage the Ubauzo. Cure Spicy then finished it off with her finisher.
After the battle, Pam Chan apologise as she was the "monster" in school. She was worried about Kokone in the first place and was startled when the students entered the Home Eco classroom. Kokone's classmates also began to open up to her after the incident which make her happy.
Later, the two girls looked at all locations that were attacked by Gentle so far and realised someone has been posting about the food online. Little did they know, it was posted by Ran since she was at every location where Gentle appeared...
After a month of delay because of Toei's hacking incident, I nearly forgot that Delicious Party is airing back on Sunday again. Let's hope this will be the last as I am worried that the show might have to take out several plot points like Healin' Good and resulted in a rush season. Even though this is the sixth episode, a delay can really cause a lot of inconveniences.
With regards to this episode, it is a follow up for Kokone as she finally got the respect from her peers since before that, everyone treated her like a Princess but in reality, she really want to be part of the group and after saving her classmates from the Ubauzo, she finally gets along with them.
We also get to know the Student Head's name is Kasai Amane and seeing how Gentle planned to abduct the Ebi fairy and Amane informing the canteen staff about the Recess delay, it can't be a coincidence? Furthermore, Gentle now knows that Yui and Kokone are in the same school, will there be more conflicts in the future?
The girls also used their Bracelets to surf the internet (Not a smartphone?) and found out that someone is posting the locations where Gentle abducted the Food Fairies and the latest post is at a Ramen Store which is a no-brainer since in the next episode preview, Ran and together with the Energy Fairy, Mem Chan will become Cure YumYum.
