Hi, Everyone! This is my review of Episode 4 of Delicious Party Precure and let's see how Kokone joined the Precure Ranks!
We get to see Kokone having breakfast as she spots a Sandwich fairy and smiles at it. She also wonders who Cure Precious is after dropping her in front of her home in the previous episode. At school, she is in the same class as Yui and Ran and her peers mentioned that despite being a model student, she seems unapproachable and even commented that her family own a high-class restaurant in town.

Kome Chan is also able to transform from fairy to toddler anytime and as Yui was feeding her, Pam Chan asked her to let her meet Kokone claiming a strange connection with her. Yui tried to meet Kokone several times in school but was distracted by her peers.

Finally, Yui saw Kokone trying to move a large mattress by herself and offered to help. They pulled together and found a baby rabbit trapped alone and place it back into the hut. Pam Chan appeared and Kokone was star struck to hold her. Yui suggested they meet at the Heart Bakery after school and she brought Kome Chan and Pam Chan which cause Kokone to fill with nervousness.
As they ate some bread, both of them could see the various bread fairies which surprised each other. Suddenly Gentle appeared and captured the fairies and turned a scale machine into an Ubauzo. Yui and Rosemary entered the Delicious Field and Kokone held onto Pam Chan which somehow brought them in too.
Kokone then saw Yui transformed into Cure Precious and began battling the Ubauzo. Kokone knew something was strange and demanded an explanation from Pam Chan as she suspected that she can talk. Rosemary wanted Kokone to leave the field but she told Pam Chan that even though she love being alone, she felt something special being with Yui and want to help her to protect their homes.

Pam Chan then granted Kokone her own Cure Heart Watch and she transform into Cure Spicy with Pam Chan. The two girls team up together and defeated the Ubauzo with Cure Spicy's finisher- Spicy Circle. The rescued fairies then enter Cure Spicy's watch.
After the battle, Kokone shared a curry bun with Yui as the two of them are now comrades together...
We get to know more about Kokone as she still eats alone at home, despite being both beautiful and smart at school. But she gave an unapproachable vibe which is the reason why Yui was determined to make friends with her plus it was Pam Chan's request since they felt something when they gaze at each other last episode.
Kokone is also a bit stubborn as she didn't ask anyone for help to move the mattress until Yui spotted her. I am thinking that Kokone has yet to open to anyone but looking at how she reacts with Kome Chan and Pam Chan sitting on her lap, I just can't wait for her to explode and started to cuddle them like real pets. Maybe Kokone like cute things but has yet to reveal her true self to Yui and company.
Gentle was smart in capturing three fairies and turned it into a stronger Ubauzo which I am thinking the villains are trying new methods to defeat our heroines rather than using the same methods over again. Cure Spicy was expected from a Blue Cure and I like that she can be both defensive and offensive with her energy shield and Peppery Sandwich Press. Her finisher- Spicy Circle is all right with the whirlwind of hearts defeating the Ubauzo.
Overall, a good introduction for Kokone. But we are not finished with her yet since she needs to know what is going on and how her relationship with Yui and Rosemary will affect her in the future. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
