Tropical Rouge Precure Ep 16 Review: Laura's Quest Part 1

Hi, Everyone! This is my Short review of Tropical Rouge Precure Episode 16 and it is the first of a two-parter and Laura is the main focus!

I have been watching the last few episodes and we can see especially from the last two episodes that Laura has a secret desire to enjoy together with Manatsu as a human however she was conflicted if that is what she wants.

The girls' Manicure might be the key to next week's episode...

Laura also started to read the Little Mermaid story and learn of the tragedy of the mermaid who loses her voice to become a human. Although she claimed it was foolish for the mermaid to sacrifice her voice, Minori's words gave Laura some thoughts that you have to sacrifice something in order to get something in return.

True enough, when the girls are battling the Zenzen Yaranade by Chongire, he set a trap to have hundreds of similar bottles to confuse Laura and trapped her in a net. He then carried her off to see the Witch of Delays!

The girls later learned from Minori about Laura might secretly wanting to become a human. They then decided to rescue her. Thanks to Laura creating bubble trails in the ocean, the girls transformed and follow the trail to the Witch's lair.

Meanwhile, the Witch of Delays offered Laura the chance to become human if she helps to defeat the Precures...but that's not going to happen in the next episode since we are spoiled in the next episode preview which Laura overcome her conflict and become Cure La-Mer.

Of course, I might have a twisted idea that the Witch of Delays actually gave Laura her powers and go against Team Tropical Rouge. From the way that it is only episode 16 which is not even half a season, I am suspecting there is more than Laura joining the team which is too early for a sixth ranger to join. (Usually, Sixth rangers characters join officially around the 20s episodes) If there is nothing after Cure La-Mer's entry, this season isn't going to be interesting either unless the status quo change.

Let's hope I am wrong and something does happen after Cure La-Mer's debut next week. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
