Maho Tsukai Precure Ep 32 : A New Chapter Begins!

Cure Up! Rapapa! This is my review of Maho Tsukai Precure Episode 32 Review and Kotoha is too excited to go to school today!

For reasons yet to be explained, we got little decor spirits flying around and spying at everyone. The girls doesn't know why and the headmaster knew nuts about it. But wait, Kotoha is too excited to be enrolled in school that she dragged the other two girls to school two hours before school started!

Everything was brand new to Kotoha in school but she was interested in Souta's football lessons and decided to lend a hand on her. Although Souta didn't question of how Kotoha was able to get Souta's team mates in a whirlwind or how she performed balancing on top of a ball perfectly (With magic, of course!) but he thank her and wanted her to come to see his match during the weekend.

Of course, the match was nearly ruined as we got the first full appearance of Shakinsu who oddly dressed like a Tengu. The girls take him on and his Don Yokubal which resulted in some soccer action from the girls.

After the girls defeated the Don Yokubal and Shakinsu retreated, the match commence smoothly. Souta thanked Kotoha although I felt it was more of a thank you rather than Souta went all head over her which clearly it didn't happened. Although having a girlfriend like Kotoha will probably be a headache since she still has a childlike personality but then some guys like more innocent thinking girls.

Overall, an okay episode since now the status quo is making the decor spirits becoming part of the Rainbow Chariot which no one actually noticed. So what happened when all twelve spirits are absorbed into the Rainbow Chariot? That's a question for another time. Anyway, the points in this episode is Kotoha is truly a little girl trapped in a teen body since everything is new to her. Although I am sure that abusing her magic is surely going to back fire at her one of these days.

The odd things is that Kotoha has some kinda of personality switch when she become Cure Felice since she was the one who came up with the plan to take down the Don Yokubal and she was explaining her plan in a calm and calculated manner. Maybe the Linkle Emerald is controlling her thoughts during battle? (Pretty interesting, if you think about it?)

Of course, the running gag of Kana still insisting that she saw magic stuff which the girls tried their best to hide and no one else believe her. Poor girl, I hope she either make everyone believe her at the end of the series or she might have a major breakdown and went all coco puffs on everyone!

Next episode, Riko's father Rian came to Earth to visit her but she seem less comfortable with him around. Of course, we also have Benigyo in her first first appearance and she looked like the She-Devil herself! Until then, see you in the next post.

P.S: Last week, we had a flame war at Precure.livejournal over last week's episode which nearly ruined everyone mood. Yes, last week's episode was not to up everyone expectation since it was a Power Up episode and the execution and certain highlights felt kinda of weak in delivery.

If you like it, more power to you. If you don't like it, express in a more constructive and less abusive manner. There is no need to take it personal over a show which is obviously not catered to older fans of the series.

In a nutshell, Toei children shows are 30 minute-long toy commericals. The writers are clearly writing for younger viewers in mind. If they did something sightly mature which older viewers like it, it is a bonus and not an obligation.

There's all I have to say so take care and see you!
