Healin' Good Precure Ep 42 Review: Cure Grace vs Dairuzen! Plus a Teaser trailer for Tropical Rouge Precure!

Hi, Everyone! This is Episode 42 of Healin' Good Precure and after how does Cure Grace took it after hearing Dairuzen's request?

Nodoka wasn't herself during breakfast and during class, she keeps fumbles over every lesson which had her friends worried. Meanwhile, Shinodine offered to find Daizuren on King Byogen's behalf as his plans to conquer Earth is almost complete.

While Queen Teatine has ordered any able Healing animals to prepare for the trip to Earth, Rabirin asked Nodoka about her feelings and she started to feel scared if Daizuren will to return into her body as she has already lost too much in her life because of Daizuren and this time, it will be too dangerous to get infected by him again.

Nodoka even blamed herself for being a selfish person since she wants to help everyone. But Rabirin reprimanded her that her health and safety is more important before she can help anyone. Nodoka then realised that she is right and thanks for her pep talk.

Dairuzen decided to take a chance and used multiple Mega Parts on himself and he became a giant monster. The girls rushed to the scene after hearing Latte's warning. They went into battle which Cure Grace recognise the monster as Dairuzen.

He continues to beg Cure Grace to let him return to her body but Cure Grace immediately told him off that because of his existence, she nearly lost everything. With the help of the others, Cure Grace was able to weaken Dairuzen and they purified him with the Healing Arrow.

However, it only restored Dairuzen to his former self and Shinodine appeared to call out King Byogen. He appeared in the sky and absorbed Daizuren which also change his form into Neo Byogen. He declared his conquest on Earth but Cure Grace stood to him and declared they will stop him!

That escalated fast but then we only have 3 more episodes left which are why we are now in the endgame of this season! I was actually right at the beginning of this season when I did say that this season is about aiding and caring in both physically and mentally and one of the more important things is about safety first which applies to if you want to help others, make sure to take care of yourself first before doing so.

Nodoka is a caring person and she has her worries that she can't help everyone, especially Dairuzen's offer to merge back into her body. Which I am really glad that Nodoka is not stupid to fall for it. She even has a lot of thoughts to think of the consequences if she accepted Dairuzen again. Like the saying, Once bitten, twice shy. Nodoka needs to understand that she has to take care of herself before helping others and Rabirin is the MVP of this episode as she knocks some sense into Nodoka's anxiety.  (Toei, give Ai Kakuma a Precure role in the future, she is too good to be just a mascot)

We also have the big showdown between Cure Grace and an out of control Dairuzen and you can tell that Cure Grace really spoke out all her feelings about her pain and suffering she went through before. By the way, the physical fight in this one was excellent which is a shame that we have to wait till the finale to get such actions.

Then King Byogen showed up and absorbed an unconscious Dairuzen into which turn him into Neo Byogen. Although humanoid final boss is not common in Precure, I have my suspicions that Neo Byogen has some backup plan as seeing that the city has some infected areas waiting to appear.

But this is it! The showdown between our girls against Neo Byogen! Can they overcome such overwhelming power by Neo Byogen as seen in the next episode preview?

Tropical Rouge Precure Teaser Trailer: We finally have the first trailer for Tropical Rouge Precure and it is expected with the sun, sand and sea as the backdrop. Our new lead, Natsumi Manatsu arrived in her new town and encounter Laura the Mermaid. We also have our first general which resembles a Crab (Make all the sideways jokes you want) and the monster of the season.

Natsumi also showed her transformation and she has a similar transformation item that resembles the Smile Pact from Smile Precure. I am also aware of the voice cast for the main characters. Natsumi is voiced by Ai Fairouz which I remember her as Hibiki Sakura from How heavy are the Dumbells you lift which is she was hilarious as the heavy eater but has incredible superhuman strength high school girl.

Hanamori Yumiri voiced Sango/Cure Coral (Lylod from Last Dungeon), Ishikawa Yui voiced Minori/Cure Papaya (Mikasa from AOT?!), Asami Seto voiced Asuka/Cure Flamingo (Kagari from Witch Craft Works), Hidaka Rina voiced Laura (Airi from Rokyubu) and Tanaka Aimi voiced Kururu (Umaru from Umaru Chan)

So basically the tone of the season will be lighter and comical with a cast of people who voiced funny and deadpan characters before. So Smile Precure 2.0? Hopefully, this new season will be good since Healin' Good only now pick up the main story but it is also due to COVID-19 that this season will be the shortest to date. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!

Healin' Good Precure Ep 41 Review: The Longest Day Part 2

Hi, Everyone! This is Episode 41 of Healin' Good Precure and it is a race against time to save the city!

Shinodine searched around the realm for King Byogen and recall how she was infatuated with him the first time they met. She then saw something appearing in the lava...

Meanwhile, the girls successfully purified the Megabyogen, leaving one Gigabyogen roaming in the park. Most of the town people evacuated into the park but fled when they saw the Gigabyogen approaching. The girls arrived and battle Gigabyogen but King Guaiwaru and Daizuren appeared to join in the battle.

Shinodine also joins the other two generals and managed to force the girls to de-transform. Shinodine suggested that King Guaiwaru finished the girls off and was preparing to kill them when suddenly a giant claw consumed King Guaiwaru from behind and it revealed to be King Byogen in his true form.

The girls wasted no time to transform and purify the Gigabyogen. However, King Byogen and the two generals have retreated back to their realm. The girls finally realised the battle was over and it was already nightfall.

They then realised they have a lot of explaining to do with their families. Although their families reprimanded them, they were glad they were all right.

King Byogen told Shinodine and Daizuren that the girls are "Bait" for his master plan. He proposed to Daizuren that if he wants to be absorbed into his body in order to obtain true power. But Daizuren feared his presence and immediately fled from the realm and being chased by King Byogen's spawns.

The next day, Nodoka and Rabbin went jogging and found a wounded Daizuren. Nodoka transformed into Cure Grace and confronted him. Daizuren asked her if he could hide inside her body again to heal his wounds and away from King Byogen. This shocked Cure Grace as she rejected and flee from him, leaving Daizuren to curse her for abandoning him...

The first half was what I expected that Guaiwaru will get his deserves and sure enough, King Byogen already knew Guaiwaru's plan and play him like a fool. But now with a physical body, King Byogen is more dangerous than ever although I kinda find him resembling an animal rather than a humanoid. Maybe he was a fallen Healing animal that Queen Teatine knew about as seeing her reaction in the episode.

Daizuren actually felt fear for the first time after seeing how ruthless King Byogen can be. Hearing King Byogen's proposals and taking away his free will make Daizuren think that he is on the wrong side all along. But the shocking part was the end when Cure Grace actually rejects him with such a hideous suggestion to heal inside her body again. I can understand how Cure Grace feels afraid and confusing as if she allows Daizuren to return into her body, she could lose her power or even worse, death.

Overall, an expected first half but a surprising 2nd half with Cure Grace realised she must face Daizuren again as shown in the next episode preview. But Daizuren has corrupted to be more dangerous than ever. What will Nodoka choose? Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!

Healin' Good Precure Ep 40 Review: The Longest Day Part 1

Hi, Everyone! This is Episode 40 of Healin' Good Precure and Guaiwaru appeared in front of the girls after they defeated King Byogen!

Guaiwaru claimed his plan worked as he wants the girls to defeat King Byogen so as to take over his place. He then absorbed multiple Mega parts on himself and became King Guaiwaru. Shinodine and Daizuren also appeared and Shinodine did not believe that King Byogen is dead and immediately went off on her own.

Daizuren didn't really care who is in charge as long he gets to pollute the Earth. King Guaiwaru then battle the girls with ease. He even "thanks" Cure Sparkle for his plan as he purposely left a portal for the girls to enter in the previous episode. Cure Sparkle was shocked by her actions however the girls who are getting beaten make a hasty retreat further into the rocks.

The girls recovered for a bit. Latte could sense that King Guaiwaru has arrived in the city and started creating multiple Gigabyogens to pollute it. Nodoka told everyone they need to hurry back however Hinata blamed herself in the ordeal they are in now. She started blaming herself as she is always making mistakes unlike the others but the girls including Nyatoran told her that no one is perfect and she too has her good points that help the girls many times.

Latte could sense some positive energy near the rocks and suggested they focus their energy on it to create a portal back to Earth. They found a small hill and transformed immediately. Daizuren has found them and tried to destroy the hill. But the girls managed to hold him off enough to use Healing Arrow to open a portal. Cure Fontaine, Sparkle and Earth entered the portal but Daizuren blasts the portal causing it to weaken. The three girls on the other side blast enough energy for Cure Grace to escape back to Earth.

The girls made it back to Earth where they saw the city being attacked by Gigabyogens and headed straight to stop it...

Well, we now know who is the backstabber of the generals and it is actually the Muscular Guaiwaru who actually used his brains to come up with this plan. But seeing this is the last quarter, King Byogen is not really dead and will probably return in his true form and maybe kill Guaiwaru for his betrayals.

Seeing that this is also partially a Hinata focused episode, Hinata was in tears for falling into Guaiwaru's trap but the girls knew that Hinata is not to blame and Nyatora who is the best partner for Hinata knew that her naive will always get them into all sort of troubles. Despite how many times the girls were in trouble due to Hinata's blunder, they love her because she is too stubborn to give up. (Which is why most of the Yellow cures have the best development among the cures)

After that, it was just a race against time to escape from the realm. I was expecting Cure Grace having a showdown with Daizuren, seeing how he was smirking at her every time they meet which will probably happen in the next following episodes.

Overall, this episode is a closure to Hinata's arc as we begin the beginning of the end for our girls to battle King Guaiwaru. However, in the next episode preview, a shadowy figure appeared in front of them! Could that be King Byogen's real form? Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
