Healin' Good Precure Ep 16 Review: Oath of Friendship!

Hi everyone! This is Episode 16 of Healin' Good Precure and here are my thoughts of this episode!

To be honest, this episode is more of healing the friendship of three elderly people that the girls are encountered with. After learning that a special tree which supposedly grants eternity to anyone who oaths under it, was damaged during a storm, the girls met an old man, Tatsuya who has some grieves over the tree and claimed that nothing last forever.

The girls learned from the Element spirit in the tree that Tatsuya and two more friends, Fumi and Hideo pledged to be friends forever under the tree years ago. But something happened that caused Tatsuya to be bitter about it. Nodoka being the nice (and busybody) girl she was, decided to investigate and soon learn that Fumi and Hideo got married and Tatsuya felt betrayed.

Ojamjo Doremi appeared as a Movie Poster!

Nodoka was more determined to "heal" their friendship and organised a small festival around the tree hoping it will attract the three people again. But Batetemoda corrupted the Element spirit into a Megabyogen and somehow, Tatsuya reunited with Fumi and Hideo again during the chaos.

After the girls defeated the Megabyogen, they were shocked that the Element spirt did not answer them, however, a small spout came out of the tree. which signified that the tree will grow again. Tatsuya also makes peace with his friends and invited the girls to the cafe...

Nodoka is a kind girl which I understand that she meant well since this season is not just about caring for the environment but also to heal misunderstandings and lost friendships. If Nodoka didn't follow up then there won't be any story for this episode and Batetmoda won't have corrupted the Element spirit that somehow makes amends for Tatsuya and his friends.

Speaking of Batetemoda, he was really obnoxious in this episode with his constant of rapping throughout (which I hope that he get destroyed or reverted back to his animal form soon) and the other generals are starting to get annoyed by his antics.

Overall, it is not a bad episode but it doesn't really develop much in the main plot since this episode was supposed to come out two months ago. (Actually, all these new episodes are definitely felt like filler before we get to Cure Earth's Arc)

Next episode, it seems the busiest time for Chiyu's Family Inn and she seems determined to learn the ropes of the family business. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next episode!
