DIGI NEWS: Super Robots Wars OG Saga: Masou Kishin 3, Super Robots Wars Operation Extend

It's been a while since we have Digi News and we have two Super Robots Wars related games coming out!

First off, it is the entirely new sequel of the Masou Kishin saga after the previous installment in the PSP. Masaki and his friends now travel around the land of La-Gias as they battle new enemies and meet new allies. With the new graphic they used for SRW OG2, the game will be released in PS3 and PS Vita. Coming out this August 22! The limited edition will include a HD version of the first Super Robot War OG anime and a free DLC of Valsione to be used in the game!

Next is the first DLC Super Robots War game and it will be spilt into 8 parts. The first chapter will be released this Summer and it will be one of the largest rosters yet. New entries like Patlabor, Keroro Gusou, Zoids Series and the only made for promo series-Daitenoh will team up with favourites like Gundam series, Macross, L-Gaim, Code Geass. However there will more entries for the next installments as it goes.

DIGI NEWS: Super Robots Wars OG2 4th Promo Video

It has been a while since we have DIGI news and we got a new Promo video for the upcoming Super Robots Wars OG2 for the Playstation 3! Based on the promo, our heroes will be sucked into the Lord of Elemental World where Masaki and company were originally from. Even though we had the Lord of Elemental on PSP a few months back but now in Full HD animation and voice overs, you can enjoy the entire story.

But that's not all! While our heroes are trapped in another dimension, there is trouble brewing on Earth and look like the story will focus on the Choujin Machines and many original characters from the previous mainstream series will make appearances like Hugo, Touma and Fighter Roar!

The game will be out on 29/11/12 and the Super DX Edition will include the complete TV series of the Inspector Saga in Blu-Ray, an Illustration Book and Clean File which come to a whopping 41900 yen! I can't wait for the game although getting the Super DX Edition is kinda of a overkill unless you are a Hardcore SRW fan! Until then, See you in the next DIGI NEWS!

DIGI NEWS: Third PV of Super Robot Wars OG2 and Idolmaster Shining Festa PSP game PV

We got another promo video of the upcoming Super Robot Wars OG2 with more scenes of our favourite characters and new enemies which seem to be another revival of DC, another alien race and the Choujin enemies.

Looks like the cut in scenes include the cockpits, an update of their attacks and of course, the females bouncing as usual!! Coming out this 29/11/12 on PS3!

Also, we have an upcoming Idolmaster game titled Idolmaster Shining Festa on the PSP and it comes in three versions. First is called Honey Sound which include Haruka, Chihaya, Azusa and Ritsuko. Second is called Funky Note which include Yayoi, Hibiki, Iori and the Futami Twins. The third is called Groovy Tune which include Takane, Miki, Makoto and Yukiho.

The game will be a rhythm game rather than the traditional Idolmaster game and it will have new animation footage done by the same animation staff.

For me, I will choose Honey Sound and Groovy Tune as it has all my favourite idols in it. Funky Note is for the loli group...Anyway it is coming out 25/10/12 on PSP!

DIGI NEWS: Super Robot Wars Taisen OG2 will be out on 29 Nov 2012 and 2nd PV for Lost Heroes

After one year of delay, Super Robot Wars OG2 for the PS3 will be out this 29th November 2012! We now have not one but two promo videos of the game and it is awesome! Although we have yet to see how the new battle system will be but the graphics and action of our favourite super robots is overwhelming!

The limited edition will also contain the SRW OG: The Inspector entire TV series in 4 Blu-Ray Discs and a whole of goodies in it! Strictly for Hard Core Fans!

Next, we have a second PV for Lost Heroes which is coming out on 3DS and PSP this 6th September 2012.

This time, we are given an idea of the battle system and skills upgrade. Over 300 characters from Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Gundam Series will appeared. You can even perform crossover attacks with different characters to defeat stronger enemies and assist characters who will give the players an advantage!

If you get the 3DS version, it will come with a download code to download the Famicom game-SD Hero Sansuken which is the first Super Heroes crossover game by Banpresto. The PSP version will have down loadable themes and bonus items for the game play.

Can't wait for these two games and my Project X zone for the later half of this year!

DIGI NEWS: PSP Super Robots Wars Z2 Saisen Hen Promo Video

From the video, Shin Mazinger got the God Scrander, Black Getta appeared which mean we are going to move the story to the future after the events of the world turn into a wasteland because of the Getta Rays, Simon has grown out, Gundam 00 begin their second season, Macross Seven which I guess Ozama is a Big Fan and hopefully we don't get a tragic end like the 2nd Macross Frontier Movie. The introduction of Tetsujin 28 which remind me of Giant Robo and the fanservice of Kallen in a bunny suit and Mrs Yoko?!

Coming this 5th April 2012! 

DIGI NEWS: PSP Super Robot Wars Z2: Saisen Hen is coming on 5th April 2012!

Finally after almost one year of waiting, the conclusion to one of the best SRW series is coming this 5th April 2012!

This time there will be two new series joining the team-Taiyou no Shisha Tetsujin 28 go and Macross Seven series. In addition, Macross Frontier 2nd movie, Gurren Lagann and Code Geass R2 will continue their plot in the sequel. (Is Gundam 00 getting the second season in the game?)

Anyway, the rest of the cast from the first series are back so it will be one hell of a game!

Dai-2-Ji Super Robots Wars OG coming to PS3!

As fans wonder what was that teaser trailer at the end of OG2: The Inspectors, it was confirm that we are getting a SRW game on PS3!

Yeah! Furthermore it is based on the Original Generations characters which are my favourite!

We have 2 new main character for a Real Robot and a Super Robot. The female lead is voiced by Kobayashi Yumiko (She did the voice for Ryoto. Not a personal favourite for me) and the male lead is voiced by Nakamura Yuichi who did Alto of Macross Frontier.

The graphics look more 2D with a 3D background but it is HD resolution which is a good thing.
I could see Kusuha, Ibis, Kyosuke in his Alt Eisen. No release date has been announced. But I got a feeling will be during Fall 2011. Furthermore, the special edition will include a blu-ray set of the first anime season if you pre order it. I can't wait for it!

First Impressions-SRW Z2 Hakai Hen and SRW Z2 Saisei Hen!

I just got the game yesterday and this is what I think about it! It's freaking AWESOME!!! The battle animations are top-notch for a PSP (Dissdia FF, eat your hearts out!) Basically you start off with your new original lead, Crow who got a unit which is a cross between Strike Gundam and Unicorn Gundam default head. He supposedly own people 1000000 G and he end up volunteer in this experiment to pilot the machine. 

As this is a huge cast, there are many factions of enemies to battle-Britannia, OZ, Mars Empire, Invaders, Dr Hell, Gilgamesh Army, Vajah and the mysterious dimensions Beasts which we saw in the opening movie. I was surprised that many of the new casts appeared earlier and we got to choose which factions to join-Celestina Being, Crusher Team (Which is the God Mars Team) or the Black Knights (I haven't figure  out how to join them, someone tell me how!?)

Most of the upgrading systems are from the previous installment like the PP system but they have a new system called sub operator which I have yet to figure that out. Most probably it is similar like the Guest system from SD Gundam G Generation series.

Now a piece of news! A new teaser trailer has been put up for the conclusion of this game! Super Robot Wars Z2-Saisei Hen or Reborn Chapter!

From the video, most of you have guess what it will be the end of the Hakai Hen. Zero/Lelouch lead the Black Knights in the Black Rebellion, the Wing Boys surrounded by the OZ and Herro surrendered!? Setsuna being ambushed and his comrades are down, the advent of Shin Dragon, Aoi was confused and Shinobu has to bail her out, the truth of Shin Mazinger, Takeru's vision of his brother, Mark, Ranka left with Brent after saying goodbye to Alto and the mysterious enemies known as the Emperor.

SRW OG S2 Ep 26 FINAL-FINAL ATTACKS ALL THE WAY!!!!

The people on earth watch as the strange energy cover the skies. Gilliam escaped and is holding the System XN.

He planned to have the Einst to be teleport elsewhere but somehow it backfired and now they have all arrived and is assimilating the White Star.

Our heroes began to fight back. SRX used the Buster Cannon but it only damaged that much to Stern Regisseur’s shield. Sangar and Elzam took over and became Jin Man I-Tai and destroyed Stern Regisseur.

Suddenly another figure emerged from it and it was Einst Beowulf! Axel was shocked as he remembered killing it before coming to this world.

The pilot is the Shadow Mirror Kyosuke and now he will destroy the earth and rebuild a new one for himself. He summoned Shadow Mirror version of our heroes to battle them while he flee to Earth.

Refina suspected that Einst Beowulf is unable to teleport and immediately ordered Gilliam to bring a squad to teleport outside Earth's Atmosphere by using the System XN.

The plan work and the ATX team together with Granzon and Soulgain confronted Einst Beowulf which have evolved to his final form. The other heroes battled hard and defeated all the doppelgangers.

Axel managed to damage it's core but Soulgain suffered damages and was knocked out into space. Kyosuke continued to do more damage but ran out of ammo.

Beowulf tried to kill him but Alfimi pushed him away and was killed. Kyosuke ram his way through and finally deal the final blow to Beowulf, ending it. The strange energy surrounding the Earth disappeared and Excellen saved a badly damaged but alive Kyosuke and Alt Eisen...

Days later after the war, Latooni and Shine visited their own friends-Giado and Garrent.

Arado and Seolla were having their couples' tiff.

Rai and Leona visited their Sister-in Law's grave and found that Elzam was here earlier.

The Ryu Koh Oh went to slumbers as Bullet and Kusuha look on.

Gilliam destroyed the System XN.

Masaki bid farewell to Ryusei and the others.

Laima look on into the sunset, doubting about her future.

Kyosuke and Excellen share a moment together and hint that he will kill her if she turn into a Einst. She laughed and they kissed in the sunset...

Wow! This is how final battles should be. Just non-stop super robots action all the way! Divine Wars was all right but the 2nd season has really pass the limit of how the game should be. Through there is some loop holes here and there and characters development is not so detailed like the game but it is all right with me.

Through I wonder what happened to Axel? If I am correct, he and Alfimi ended up in Exceed Frontier Storyline. The starting of the episode also show several SRW protaingists-The Grey Wolves from SRW MX, Touma from Alpha 3 and Kouta and his Sister from OG Gaiden plus an incomplete Compatiable Kaiser! So are we expecting more SRW in the future? Only time will tell...


SRW OG S2 Ep 25-Real Men fight with Swords!

Mekiboss managed to escape from Irum and Ryoto and retreated to the White Star. Vindel and his men saw Wendolo in his Dikastes and were surrounded by the Einst. Wendolo fire at them and Vindel realised that Wendolo has already submitted to the Einst.

Mekiboss tried to question Wendolo and he replied that he was already influenced by the Einst when they first arrived and is only waiting for the chance to rise. Mekiboss attempted to kill him but failed. Wendolo then appeared outside the White Star with an army of Einst.

Our heroes battled Wendolo as the ATX team went to battle the Shadow Mirror who failed in their field escape and was transported outside the White Star. Masaki used Cyflash to destroy the Einst however Wendolo is still alive and tried to kill Masaki. Irum and Sangar arrived and slice off Diskastes's arms. SRX then deal the final blow and kill Wendolo.

Excellen battle Lemon and ask her who she really is. Lemon finally revealed after defeated by her. She is actually a clone created from the deceased Excellen of the alternative world. But she learned what is love and saw the possibility of Excellen and told Lamia to live her own life. Her mecha was destroyed after that.

Bullet defeated Vindel and he crashed into the White Star. Gillam ordered Bullet to help the others while he chased after Vindel. He confronted him and immediately rushed to an exposed System XN on Zweizergain's head.

Gilliam rebooted the System XN and planned to take the Einst and the White Star to another dimension. Vindel could not understand why. Gilliam explained it is to find his own world and to redeem for a girl that he met in another world.

The System XN began to teleport the White Star but at the same moment, a giant creature appeared and it was Stern Regisseur. It began to bind the Earth with red beams as our heroes watch in despair...

Wendolo was creepy as he appeared in his Einst form however the power of three giant houses took him down with ease. Gilliam's mention of the girl is probably the same one from Hero Senki. Even the music when he started the System XN is Hero Senki.

Now the head of the Einst has appeared! Can our heroes save the universe and will we see Gilliam again? Also, if they followed the game scenario, there is one more secret enemy they have to battle! See you next week for the final conclusion!
