A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

So what are the shows on my watch list? Aquarion Logos looked interesting since I enjoyed Aquarion Evol which is one of the best Super Robot shows for the last five years. Gatchaman Crowds which despite not being a true Gatchaman series was pretty all right and I enjoyed the soundtracks each time the action start. Cinderalla Girls, To Love Ru Darkness and Fate Kaleid is also a confirm watch for me. I read Monster Musume and it is fun although how much censorship is going to happen since the monster girls are almost naked most of the time.

I never got a chance to play any of the God Eater games. Perharps after watching the first episode might change my mind. Bikini Warriors looked very tempting to watch since it was created by the same people who did the Queen's Blade series however each episode is only five minutes long which is really dumb.

Of course, the biggest hype is Dragon Ball Super! I have stated before that Dragonball changed my life about anime and being a big fan till today make me feel like Christmas has come early this year! I am suspecting that the two revival movies were a test run on whether old and especially new fans will like it and true enough, it does! Similar to Dragonball GT, there won't be a manga to adopt so fans won't know what to expect for the new series. Let the Dragonball Craze return and beat Naruto and One Piece fans off the roof! (Joking!)

So what are the new shows you looking forward to this Summer? If you have a particular show you want me to review, let me know in the comments. Until then, see you this July for the new shows!

Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Ep 9 Review: Candy Crush!

Hello everyone! This is my Idolmaster Cinderella Girls episode 9 review! Today is our new trio of idols, Anzu, Kanako and Chieri who formed Candy Island!

When Candy Island are invited for a game show, Anzu took it easy while Kanako studied hard and Chieri has butterflies in her stomach. Although Mio suggested to her to think everyone in the audience are frogs and even had Takeuchi dressed up in a frog costume.

However the show was more of physical and the girls were way behind the other idol group, KBYB. Although in the end, the final game was a quiz and thanks to Anzu's quick thinking, Kanako's learned knowledge and Chieri who turned the tables, Candy Island was able to tie with KBYB at the end. As a result, everyone played the pentaly game which is bungee jumping...

After nine episodes, we get to see Anzu in action and she is no pushover. All these while, she was acting as a sloth in the office. From running away from assignments to sleeping in a corner, I had my doubts on why Takeuchi wanted to hire her in the first place. But seeing her doing her best in the game show make me change my views about her. Chieri remind me of Yukiho from the original series without the shovel that she carried around. Her shyness is understandable since she has began her idol career now.

Thanks to Kanako's carefree attitude and Anzu is the brain, she was able to overcome her shyness and even won the winning points for the group. Kanako was pretty much herself in this episode so there was not much character development. Maybe another episode which focus on her "large frame" in the future?

Overall I give this episode a C plus. Candy Island was all right as a group since they balance each other very well. The only thumb down was our three main girls-Uzuki, Rin and Mio were reduced to sitting on the audiences throughout the entire episode. But it is expected since we still have five more girls to develop for this season. Furthermore it is announced that the show will take a three month break after April and will return in the summer for the second half. Until then, see you in the next post!

Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Ep 8 Review: Presumption is a Bad Thing!

Hello everyone! This is my Idolmaster Cinderella Girls episode 8 review! Today's episode focus on our resident Gothic girl-Kanzaki Ranko!

When Takeuchi announced that Ranko will be doing her solo CD debut, he proposed the concept of her image based on horror and dark themes. However Ranko dislike the idea and started talking in her Chunibyo tone to confuse him.

After much confusion, both of them sat down and Ranko showed her notebook which explain what she really want for her idol image and Takeuchi understand it better. Soon her debut was a success and still acted in character which got everyone confused except Mirai who understand every word Ranko said. (Takeuchi realised that he should have ask Mirai for Ranko's interpretation in the first place...)

If you look at a girl dressed up like Ranko in real life, what is your impression of her? Most properly you might think she is into the occult and dark stuff. That is what Takeuchi assumed Ranko's character was. But in actual fact, Ranko is pretty whimsy in her ideals. She like supernatural themes but added in a bit of angelic theme to show the tragedy of things. She even can't stand horrors theme as showed in her reaction to Takeuchi's original proposal and when her dorm mates are watching a horror movie.

I kinda like both of her costumes...

But Ranko has her own issues of self confidence as she wanted to tell Takeuchi her ideas but chicken out at the last minute. (I think about four times in this episode) It was after Rin's suggestion to talk to her informally that Takeuchi had a good chat with Ranko.

Overall, I give this episode a B plus! Since Ranko showed off her cute side (which I enjoy a lot thanks to Ucchida Maaya's performance) which make love her even more! I also enjoyed Takeuchi struggling to speak in a less formal manner. Japanese people has different level of manners to address to different age group of people in the case of Takeuchi, he is using the most polite way to address to everyone irregardless of age.

The funny scene at the end when Mirari actually understand what Ranko is saying all these while got a facepalm on Takeuchi's face since he should have asked Mirai in the first place and Mirai is being a dick for not helping out.

After watching eight episodes, I will said that my top five Cinderella girls are:
1) Rin
2) Anya
3) Ranko
4) Uzuki
5) Minami

Who is your top five Cinderella girls? Until then, see you in the next episode!
