Hi, Everyone! This is my short review of Episode 3 of Delicious Party Precure and I am just going to give my thoughts since most of you have already watched the episode.
This episode focus on Kome Chan and the introduction of our second Energy Fairy, Pam Pam (I am going to call her Pam Chan) and unlike Kome Chan, Pam Chan could talk and behave like an adult. She is a bit of a show-off and Yui found her interesting and was informative about the Precure Heart Watch.
Kome Chan felt left out and decided to go on an errand to buy some carrots hoping to get praise from Yui. We also see more of Kokone in this episode since she mistook Kome Chan as a puppy when she saw her outside a grocery store and even help to get her carrots. She didn't notice anything unusual until she saw Kome Chan floating up to a wall and realised she is something else.
Fate also played a part when Pam Chan and Kokone gaze at each other for the first time and Pam Chan nearly gave herself away when she accidentally spoke. But Yui and Rosemary arrived and make up an excuse to leave and later found Kome Chan together with Takumi. The odd thing is Takumi feel indifferent to what is going on but we the viewers know that there is more to him than a childhood friend.
Gentle captured the Curry Rice fairy and when Yui and Rosemary confronted her, Kokone was nearby and witness them entering the Delicious Field Zone. The battle against the Ubauzo was pretty fun as Cure Precious keep punching the Ubauzo from the inside until it broke a hole but I do notice that Cure Precious's tactic is to face head-on which is very risky since she has yet to face someone who could outsmart her in the future.
After the battle, Kokone was still stunned at what has happened. (Although I was wondering does time moves differently in the zone and when the battle is over, it is only a few seconds or minutes that pass in the real world) Cure Precious offered to carry a tired Kokone to her home and leap in the air carrying her Princess style.
That night, Yui prepared the Curry Rice while Kome Chan was resting. When she called Kome Chan out from her Cure Watch, Kome Chan has become a human toddler that shocked Yui and Rosemary. Pam Chan explained that Kome Chan is a special type of fairy that explained the changes. Nevertheless, everyone ate the Curry rice together while Kokone was eating her dinner alone at home...
Judging the way the last scene with Kokone, I am thinking that her family is always busy at work leaving her alone with her butler and in this episode, she even told her butler to leave when she arrived in town. I am guessing she just need friends and looking at the next episode preview, Kokone and Pam Chan's lives is about to change when Kokone find out about Yui as Cure Precious.
Overall, this episode is pretty fun to watch especially Kome Chan trying to do her best and getting to know more of Kokone and Pam Chan. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
