Delicious Party Precure Ep 2 Review: Rosemary's farewell?!

Hi, Everyone! This is my review of Episode 2 of Delicious Party Precure and Let's Party Go!

Yui was enjoying her Omirice after the battle and Rosemary explained that the Bundoru Gang have already captured several fairies which explained the closure of several shops in town. Her Cure Watch shows a monitor of the King and Queen of Cookingdom asking for a report from Rosemary. The King also act dumb when he mentioned the Legendary Warrior Precure.

Yui saw the Omirice fairy was feeling better now and Rosemary's comrade, Fennel who is the Captain of the Royal Guard told him that his Delicioustone pendant was damaged which mean he is unable to use his powers nor travel to Cookingdom.

The King couldn't give notes instead of coins?

Yui immediately volunteer to aid Rosemary in the upcoming battle which got Rosemary worried. The King also provide Rosemary with money for his expenses which he later rented a room from Takumi's Family Inn.

Takumi also came to Yui's home and was annoyed that Yui left without him earlier. Rosemary introduced himself and noticed Takumi looked familiar which he denied it. Yui later asked her mother if she could keep Kome Chan as a pet which she agreed.

Yui later told Rosemary that she once took care of a stray cat and after much determination, the cat accepted her. Yui's grandmother told her that she is very strong and she told Rosemary that she will aid him, he was not happy about it. He then took Kome Chan out of a walk that confused her.

Ran was having some Karaage in a restaurant when Gentle captured the Karaage fairy and turned it into a Pepper Shaker Ubauzo. Yui's Cure Watch alerted her of the Capture and went to look for Rosemary but he has checked out of his room and left a note for her.

In his note, he does not want Yui to get involved in the battles because of him unable to use his powers which got her to look for him. Along the way, she bumped into Kokone who just came out of a Pretty Holic shop. Rosemary trapped the Ubauzo in a Delicious Field and tried to hold it off. Yui arrived too and she explained her watch led her to him. (With a meme face from Rosemary)

You tried to punch a bomb with your fists?!

Yui transform to Cure Precious with Kome Chan and went straight on to the Ubauzo with little success. She was thrown out from a distance and Rosemary told her to stop. He told her that he does not want her to get involved in his battles.  But Yui told him that his grandmother's words that she is strong were her willingness to help others in need.

Your new toy which is basically a cup...

Look at those puppy eyes!

Rosemary finally gave in and the two of them worked together to defeat the Ubauzo and saved the Karaage fairy. That night, Rosemary gave Yui a special cup from the Cookingdom as a gift of friendship and they celebrate with Yui's mother with some Karaage. Yui also discovered that Kome Chan is able to enter the Cure Watch that has a place for her to rest. At the same time, Pan Chan woke up from her sleep...

It seems that everyone in Cookingdom is acting dumb when asked about the Precure which we probably get an answer in future episodes. I was wondering what is the Bundon Gang' true motives which maybe if people have no good food to eat, their morale will go down and nothing will get done. Furthermore, people will lose their jobs if there are no food stalls to sell. Pretty smart for the Bundoru Gang rather than the usual taking over the world plan that previous villains group has tried before.

Rosemary mentioned that Takumi looked awfully familiar which might hint there is more than a childhood friend to Yui which everyone probably has their own theories of who Takumi really is. The conflict of this episode is the usual "outsiders should not get involved" plot which is used previously in Healin' Good with Rabbirn and Nodoka. It means sense since Rosemary is unable to use his powers nor travel back to Cookingdom. Although couldn't the King send a new pendant to him since he has already sent money for Rosemary's expenses.

Yui in all is a helpful girl which might be her weakness since helping others might backfire. I got a feeling that maybe she help Gentle in the future which will clash with her when things go south. But then that's how Sixth Rangers stories started-from a helping hand.

Kokone and Ran again only got one line of dialogue in this episode but with Pan Chan waking up from her sleep, we are on our way to see the rest of the Cures. In the next episode, Kome Chan went on an errand on her own and she got lost. Can Yui find her before the next Bundon attack? Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
