Hi, Everyone! This is Episode 28 of Healin' Good Precure and many viewers including myself were shocked by what has happened in this episode! It took me a while to piece everything together and also thanks to animeangel4ever who gave an explanation of what is going on.
Nodoka was struggling with the Mega part in her body and somehow Rabbirn's own power managed to force the Mega part out of her body and it transformed into an immature version of Daizuren. Both him and Nodoka finally realised what is going on!
The short version is Nodoka's illness was created by a Byogen parasite years ago when she was a child Even the doctors and her parents mentioned that her illness is unknown and there was no cure for it. It was inside Nodoka's body all these years and when King Byogen ordered the Byogen to come to him, the parasite left Nodoka's body and it became sentient and became Daizuren!
This changes the playing field as we now know that all those subtle hints like how Daizuren was interested in Nodoka every time they encountered each other, how in the last episode, he asked Shindoine about her "host" was because they were created out of humans! That's also meant Shindoine and Guiwaru were also created from their original hosts!
This immature Daizuren was pretty strong that even Cure Earth has problems taking him on. But thanks to some quick thinking, the girls were able to purify the immature Daizuren.
When you really think about it, it is pretty creepy that a parasite has been living in Nodoka's body all these years and making her weaker every day and how Daizuren now just wants to make Nodoka's life a living hell. Poor girl can't really get a break. Even though there are no real consequences of purifying the immature Daizuren, Nodoka will probably need years of therapy after learning all this information.
In the next episode, Nodoka started to behave extremely active, like going on jogs and eating a heavy meal during lunch. You think there are signs of stress and depression? Hopefully, the other girls could help her overcome this trauma. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!
So, this episode basically explain the origin of Mega Byo-gen. Nice, finally something more interesting that watching Asumi learning words.
