Doki Doki Precure Ep 33: Pillow Talk

 

The girls have a sleepover at Alice's mansion and Mana suggested some girls' talk. Alice was suppose to start the ball rolling but they heard a helicopter approaching the mansion.

They realised it was Alice's father, Seiji who has returned from an overseas trip. She introduced Makoto and Aguri to her father and commented they will make a nice idol duo. When the girls returned to their room, Alice explained her dream in helping the family business-She want to the whole world to be filled with smiles.

Alice was inspired by Mana and she told the story of how she met her and Rika. When they were 6 years old, Alice was physically weak. She nearly tripped after chasing a butterfly but was saved by Mana. Mana has earlier climbed into the mansion and was reprimanded by Rika. However Mana invited Alice to join them and soon they were doing things together and became friends.

After building a make shift shelter claiming to be their "secret base", Alice has a fever after being caught in the rain. Seiji got worried and decided to take her overseas for good. Mana and Rika received the news from Sebastian and climbed into her room. Mana locked the room, preventing Seiji from entering. Sebastian also disobey his master's orders and take on Seiji's bodyguards.

Using a tablet, Rika found the hidden doors and traps of the mansion. The three girls evaded capture and managed to run out of the mansion. Seiji tried to catch them and realised Alice is more physically active now.

The girls were cornered at last and Alice finally told Seiji she want to stay with her friends. He realised Alice has matured a bit and allowed her to stay. When Alice want to continue, Mammo has corrupted the helicopter pilot into a Jikochu. It went out of control and Seiji is trapped in the helicopter.

The girls transformed with Cure Rosetta rescuing her father while the rest battled Mammo and the Jikochu. Cure Rosetta caught hold of Seiji and the pilot and leave in Sebastian's care. Seiji woke up and wondered who Cure Rosetta could be.

Eat your heart, Xiao Qiao!

Who said you can't do your poses upside down and in the air?

Cure Rosetta joined in the fight and using Rosetta Reflection as twin blades, she overwhelm the Jikochu and used her new skill-Rosetta Balloon to seal the Jikochu. The girls then used Lovely Straight Flush to finish the Jikochu.

After Mammo retreated, Seiji was ready to leave but he told Alice to tell that "girl" not to do dangerous acts. She wondered who could it be and he replied it is for Cure Rosetta...

I think Alice has the best development so far and this episode is how a physically weak Alice overcome her weakness with Mana and Rika. She was also able to speak her mind more freely and convince her father to let her stay with her friends. Furthermore, Cure Rosetta was pretty awesome, using Rosetta Reflection like Dynasty Warriors' Xiao Qiao's fan blades and gave the Jikochu a good whooping!

Sebastian is also awesome like most bad ass butlers in anime who is willing to risk it all for his master or in this case, Alice Ojousama! There was one thing which might be a little nitpick is if this show's timeline is 2013, that means Alice met Mana during 2005 which prove one point. Ipad tablet or a smart tablet wasn't invented until 2010. But hey! Yotsuba Corporation could have this technology a few years before it's official release. Anyway, it is a show. No point thinking so hard about it!

Next episode, Ai-Chan seem to be getting restless and no one know what's wrong with her. What could it be as Ira return with another scheme! Until then, see you in the next episode!

Majestic Prince Ep 23: The battle rages on for Team Rabbit when Jiart joined into the battle forcing Izuru to sortie. Izuru and Jiart began battling while the others returned to refill.

The Earth forces are suffering big losses when Chandra and the mass-produced AHSMB arrived to aid them. After using all methods including hurling a portion of the Goldinon into the gate way, Teoria appeared and tried to order a ceasefire at the Wulgura. Jiart immediately rushed to her but Izuru intercepted him. Simon then ordered an evacuation as he planned to ram the gate way with Star Rose...

I can't comment much as it is action all the way in this episode. Even hurling part of their ship is deeded futile. But Simon is planning to do a Kamikaze attack which I am sure it is a death flag for him. Furthermore, Teoria's appearance will make Jiart more determined as Izuru held his final stand against him. What will be the final conclusion for this climatic battle?

Gatchaman Crowds Ep 10: As the newly formed CROWDS now named Neo Hundred began to create havoc in the city, Umeda ordered them to find Prime Minister Sugayama and overthrow him.

Berg Katze located him and the Neo Hundred attacked him and his men. But Hajime and the Gatchaman arrived to immobilise the Neo Hundred. Paiman and OD took Sugayama to their lair for hiding as the authorises began to evacuate people out of the city. After Joe read a message from Sugane, he too joined in the fight.

Berg decided to betray Umeda by giving his address to the public and blaming him for the attacks. After Paiman preach Sugayama about the fate of the Earth, he also went to sortie and protect the nursery from the Neo Hundred. The Gatchaman then united together to take down the Neo Hundred...

This is what I want to see in this show! The Gatchaman kicking ass! Even Joe who has given up hope, read Sugane's message and recalled how he saved his life and encourage him to be a better person, join them in the fight. Of course, Berg being the bad guy decided to spice things up by making Umeda the scapegoat and attacking his family.

Can the Gatchaman defeat the Neo Hundred and Berg Katze before all is lost?

Fantasista Doll Ep 10: Uzume has no clues on how to get Madeline back from the organisation and her dolls felt disappointed about it. The next day, a parcel was delivered to her and later an email informed her the parcel is from the organisation.

Uzume's mother, Uno unwrapped the contents and Anna from the organisation introduced herself. She suggested to Uzume to play a game of poker and not knowing what is going on, Uno also joined in. Uno was surprisingly good and after two games, she even got Madeline's card. But she decided to make dinner and left Uzume to play with Anna.

The dolls found out Anna's location and tried to get back Madeline's Card. Proto Zero was waiting for them and they began to battle. Finally Uzume with some dumb luck, managed to win Anna and she told her that the Chairman from the organisation will visit her now.

Uzume then found out that Komachi is the Chairman of the organisation...

So instead of having a doll battle, playing a game of poker was a much civilised method to solve it. I am bit surprised that Madeline wasn't hurt instead she was sitting behind Anna, watching the battle quietly.

Uno was the Poker Queen and both Uzume and Anna have no idea what she is thinking at all. I did mentioned before that the voice who spoke to the Movie President sounds like Komachi and I was right, she is the Chairman. But why did she play all angel but yet is determined to get Uzume's cards? Only in finding out in the next episode, the truth will be reveal...

The World God Only Knows S3 Ep 11: Keima tried to get Ayumi out of the house by using her panties as bait. Chihiro and Haqua were watching from afar as Keima waited for Ayumi at the river.

However Vintage followers were all over the city trying to find them including Luna which the two has a close call. Chihiro decided to get the two of them into Miyako's house so as to avoid detection. However Chihrio told Ayumi about Keima is treating her like a game which got Ayumi angry and left.

Keima decided to try one more time to win her however Ayumi want him to marry her. Ayumi's parents were dragged into their charade but gave up on them. Instead Ayumi want Keima to propose to her in a romantic spot and left the house.

Vintage spotted them and "killed" Nora's decoy which was created by her buddy. Keima and Chihiro wore invisible coats and head for Ayumi's location as Haqua stayed behind to deal with Luna...

I was a bit angry that Chihiro tried to ruin Keima's reputation by telling Ayumi he is a liar but later claimed she want Ayumi to stop worrying about her feelings by severing the love triangle between them. Noble girl, Chihiro. I salute you! Will Keima win Ayumi's heart before Vintage discover them and will the other goddess be saved in time before sunrise? Find out in the final episode next week!

Doki Doki Precure Ep 32: DIY! Do It Yourself!

The school is preparing for the Cultural festival however Mana fainted due to exhaustion. She had a fever but insisted in going to the festival tomorrow. However Rika ordered her not to do so.

She later mentioned about Mana being the "Happy Prince" again which got Aguri curious. She went to borrow the Happy Prince book from the library and learnt more about the story.

Meanwhile, Bel gave Ira and Mammo two Blood Rings which is suppose to enhance their powers. He even proclaimed that he is the No.2 man in the group. The other two generals were not happy and tried to revolt but instead got a electric shock from the rings. Bel then ordered them to go and create more havoc for King Jikochu.

The next day, the girls minus Mana walked around the school festival. But Mana also arrived and Aguri immediately dragged her to the sick bay claiming she does not want her to be like the Happy Prince. Aguri instead volunteered to oversee the festival as Mana rested.

Aguri started reprimanding the various club for their reliance on Mana and ordered them to solve the problems themselves. She went back to complain to Mana about how incompetent the clubs were. But Mana replied that it might be true that the clubs might be taking advantage of her however one might not have the abilities to solve a problem but if people will to help one another, they will feel good about themselves.

Just then some students accidentally damaged the wood display for the camp fire. Mana and Aguri went to take a look and saw everyone helping out to reassemble the display which left Aguri speechless. A student got rowdy in a cafe and was corrupted by Ira into a Jikochu.

Mana and the others quickly transformed and began battling it in front of everyone. But the Jikochu is more stronger due to Ira's Blood Ring and quickly overpowered the girls. (Including giving them a terrible ride in it's cup)

Cure Heart got nauseous. Instead, Cure Ace went to battle the Jikochu alone as the others tried to revive Cure Heart. Cure Ace then used her new skill-Ace Mirror Flash to blind the Jikochu as Cure Heart recovered.

They finally used Lovely Straight Flush to deal the final blow at the Jikochu and Ira retreated. Later during the campfire dance, Aguri deduce that the Happy Prince's kindness might have an influence to the town people to lead a better life. Mana offered Aguri to dance with her and they too joined in...

Again, the Happy Prince story got Aguri all acted up and started bossing around the various clubs. Although the students felt a bit demoralised that they got preach by a elementary kid but somehow they got their act together and the reassembling of the wood display was a good example of taking initiatives and not waiting for someone like Mana to lead. Mana also admitted she went out of her way but she believe that her actions will influence others to do the right thing which she was right.

Bel becoming No.2 in the group and giving the Blood Ring to the other generals is probably all part of his scheme. He even boasted that the rings was created from the essence of Reva and Gura which got the two generals worried. Furthermore, the rings is now binded to them which could led to some conflict in the future especially for Ira which in this episode Cure Diamond could not believe that he is still doing bad things. (Foreshadowing to a tragedy flag?)

Next episode, Alice's father returned to see her and an another flashback to Alice's childhood with Little Mana and Little Rika. Until then, see you next episode!
