First Impressions: Zetman Ep 1, Medaka Box Ep 1, Rock Lee Seishun no Full Power Ep 1, Queen Blade Rebellion Ep 1, Accel World Ep 1 and 2, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka of the Dead Ep 1

Sorry for waiting so long, busy at work and playing SRW Z2 Seisun Hen for two days. So let's see what new shows we have for this season!

Zetman Ep 1: Years ago, a mysterious organisation created mutants called Players for entertainment for the rich. However they gain awareness and 13 of them escaped including a test tube baby boy by one of the scientist. The boy now called Jin stayed in a homeless shelter with the scientist (who he called him Gramps) and has no idea what the world is like out there. Until the gramps was murdered and Jin saved a stripper by using his power to defeat one of the Players.

I find this show similar to Devilman with the whole "monster awaken in his body" Of course, Jin is now a ten year boy and the show will fast forward to him being a teen where his power will be truly awaken. It is quite brutal in some parts like the Lizard Player murdering people with his long sharp tongue. Interesting start but seeing that the manga is ongoing and only 12 to 13 episodes for this show will be hard to make any real progress if they butchered the storyline.

Not as hot like Risa from High School DxD but she has a nice pair of melons!

Medaka Box Ep 1: Kurokami Medaka is the perfect student. She is beautiful, excel in studies with almost superhuman abilities. She was elected the head of the student council and create a SOS box called Medaka Box which she will help any students in need of help. Together with her childhood friend, Hideyoshi, they clean up the Kendo gym and retrain the students again.

That ball she holding is the WORLD!

If you think it was Hikasa Yoko doing another student head like High School DxD, hear again. It is actually Toyosaki Aki doing Medaka. If you used to listening to her as a cute girl, she actually did a similar role in Seikon no Qusar where she played a possessed person with a creepy mature voice.

The story is all right but from I gather, Medaka is actually an experiment that gone wrong. But Hideyoshi is the consciouses for her and her support despite being a normal person. Overall, a typical start with nothing really fancy (Though Medaka doing that the whole world is in my hand gig was pretty cool) But take note, this is a Shouen Jump series so expect to go slightly more than 26 episodes.

Avoid Poop and accidently pulling girls' pants, Fail!

Rock Lee Seishun no Full Power Ep 1: Although Rock Lee and Gai Sensei are my favourite characters in Naruto, this show is really a joke like the ongoing manga series. I feel sorry for Tenten and Neji who has to play the straight person for all of Lee's crazy antics. If I want gag humor, I watch Gintama!

Itou Shizuka as Hot Pirate! (Yummy!)

Inoue Kikuko as An Amazon! (Yeahh!)

Queen Blade Rebellion Ep 1: This episode is a big mess actually. We know that Claudette rule the world with an iron fist but for those who don't watch episode zero might be confused on what is going on.

The first episode is introducing some of the characters like a female pirate captain, a chain-up Amazon, a loli and her robot which remind me of Tetsujin 28, a nun who does the holy poses (provocative) a black Ymir and Elina and our main heroine, Annelotte who rode a phantom horse.

Where did you find the time to repair your bust armor?

Just watch for the boobs and pink panty shots that everyone wore (Don't ask me why!)

I am the Pig of Tennis!

Accel World Ep 1 and 2: Haru is short, fat and has low self-esteem. His only love is playing a virtual MMORPG but even his avatar is silly (A cute pig, seriously?) But when a girl named Kuroyukihime introduced him to the world of Brain Burst, he was transported to a world where his video games skills is put to the test and even won his first game.

Warning! Incoming Childhood Friend!

If you think that Haru was drawn like that out of comic relief. No. He is actually a sad person who we can related to. The unpopular kid who get bullied and playing video games to run away from reality. Even his new avatar-Silver Crow is a persona of who he really is. A person with extreme low self-esteem. Even though he want to fight for Kuroyukihime's sake, I hope he will overcome his weakness and become a better person which is still a question left to ponder.

The Ultimate in Moeness!

Alert! Naked Butt in Danger!

Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka of the Dead Ep 1: I just watch it just now and laugh like a nutcase when Ayumu battling the Squid Megalo. Why? Because he transform to the Masou Shoujo in front of his classmates and they took photos and videos which went viral worldwide. After that, he was stark naked and unable to erase everyone due to the magic chainsaw damaged.

Kiss me, Sera!

Kiss me Sara!

This week Imaginative Yu is Inoue Kikuko

Who knew that a show which combine horror and humor can be so awesome! The cast is reintroduced again in the first few minutes and we have a new female character-Chris who love to drink liquor which Ayumu mistake her as his "imaginative friend" But the battle at the end was funny with Ayumu going 1000% of cuteness (Can they do that?) to defeat the Megalo. Anyway a great start for this show which I will follow it! By the way, Ayumu has better watch out for his butt being targeted! (Ha!)

Smile Precure Ep 9-Yayoi's Inner Thoughts is cute!

If you are Love's mother, that make her and Yayoi sisters?

Yayoi was tricked by her mother to wake up, thinking there will be pancakes for breakfast. When she arrived, it was egg and bread. Her mother told her it is April Fool Day which she also tricked her mother back too.

Yayoi's inner thoughts is cute!

Aka Oni planned to spread lies to the real world while Yayoi lied to Miyuki that she is transferring school tomorrow. Before she could tell the truth, Miyuki has ran off to tell Akane who believe in the lie. They later told Nao and Reika who fell for it. Yayoi want to tell them the truth but was worried of reprecussions.

Can I join in the hug too?

After music class, the four girls mistaken Yayoi for worrying if they could work as Precures without her. She felt more regretfull and tried to draw an apologetic drawing to them. However the drawing flew off and was caught by Aka Oni.

Miyuki and Akane brought Yayoi where the class gave her a farewell gift to her. Yayoi was overwhelmed that she ran off, hiding at the corner of the school field.

The other girls arrived and asked what's wrong. But Aka Oni appeared and suck the Bad End energy of the students in the school. The girls transformed and Aka Oni turned a roller into an Akanbe.

A Left!

And a Right!

Aka Oni tricked the girls by giving fake commands to the Akanbe. The Cures claimed that lying is bad which Aka Oni showed them Yayoi's drawing. Cure Peace finally admitted that it was April Fool's Day today and she lied about the transfer. She was worried that the other will hate her but Cure Happy reassured her that she believe in her and the others also agreed.

The Akanbe tried to attack them again but Cure Peace went in front and was able to avoid the attack and managed to purify it with Peace Thunder. The Akanbe turned to a new decor and Aka Oni retreated.

Later, Yayoi apologize to everyone in class and they accepted it. The other four girls told Yayoi one last lie and but in the end, told her it was just April Fool's Day and everything went back to normal...

Yayoi's little lie backfired and it nearly became a big mess no thanks to Miyuki and Akane who believe it completely. But I like how Yayoi's inner thoughts keep making all those funny expressions and knowing her character, she is worried that her friends will hate her which thank god, nothing serious happened. (It's Precure, what do you expect?) They even wonder what will happen if Cure Peace is not in the team anymore and they hugged her like a long time friend. (Even though they knew each other like what a month already?)

I am not so sure about the fighting scene with the Akanbe. It seems that the story is more important than the battle which I am fine with that. However the Akanbe seems easy enough to be defeated which I hope they can prove to be a challenge for the Cures in future episodes. Maybe giving the Akanbe an upgrade which the Cures will have to use their wits rather than brute forces to defeat them.

Anyway, I am suprised that Mikami Kyouko is playing Yayoi's mother which make her also the mother of Love/Cure Peach in Fresh Precure. Hopefully we can get to see more of the girls' families and perhaps another Sailormoon Alumni? (Only time will tell) We are getting an Akane Episode next week as her father is injured and she took over the Okonomiyaki store with the others helping out.

Yes, I know that the New Stage movie trailer, Ayumi transform to Cure Echo which looks all right to me and her relationship with the baby Fusion was sweet.

First Impressions: Saint Seiya Omega Ep 1 (Who watch it at 6.30 in the Morning?)

Long youth, 25 years and Athena and Seiya still look good!

The first title of the new anime season and it is Saint Seiya Omega! Basically, a young infant named Kouga was raised by Athena/Kido Saori. When the God of War, Mars tried to kidnap Saori, Seiya who is now the Sagittarius Gold Saint defend her and Kouga was mesmerised by Seiya.

Pegasus Ryusei Ken!!!

Years later, Kouga is trained by Seiya's master, Shana and he was not motivated to be a Saint. However he show potential when Shana slash him and he channel his emotions into a Cosmos Attack.

Feel the Cosmos, Kouga!

Later, Mars returned and Saori who was infected by a wound from Mars years ago could not defend herself. Shana tried to protect her but was also defeated. Kouga seeing everything, awaken the Pegasus Clothes and wore it. He hear Seiya's voice telling to believe his Cosmos and finally used Pegasus Ryusei Ken!

Two things kept me from hating this show. One is Toru Furuya doing the voice of Seiya again but he won't be a regular in the series. Second was the Opening Song which is Pegasus Fantasy Omega Version sung by Make-up and Nakagawa Shoku who did the voice of Athena pumped me up and I watch the opening like 20 times!

I knew about Saint Seiya around 1997 and it was awesome. Although the original series was outdated in today's standards but the story was amazing with connections from different mythology like Greek, Norway and even Chinese. Kouga is a more rebellious Seiya due to the fact, everyone refused to tell him the reason he has to be a Saint. But after this episode, hopefully he can be as good as Seiya.

Shana training Kouga is like a tribute to the original series as Seiya was also taught by her years ago. Ever the arrival of his Pegasus Clothes is similar to how Seiya wore it the first time.
Midorkawa Hikaru and Nakagawa Shoku isn't a first choice to play Kouga and Athena. He sound like Masaki Ando from Cybaster and he couldn't yell as well as Seiya when he used Pegasus Ryusei Ken. I thought Masakazu Morita will be a better choice as he did a good job replacing Toru in the Hades series. Nakagawa doesn't have the Majestic voice like Han Keiko from the original series or the gentleness of Orikasa Rumiko from the Hades series which is disappointing.

From what I can gather from information in the net and the opening, we have six main Saints. The Pegasus, Dragon and Cygus are the only clothes to be worn by the main cast. We also have the Orion, Wolf and Lionet clothes that are included for the main cast. Yuna who is the only female in the group will also break the tradition of wearing the Cygus clothes and not wearing a mask. (In the original series, the female Saints wore masks to protect them from injuries in the face.)

The original cast is also seem in the opening but whether they will return is another question due to Shiryu's seiyu has passed away. The Saint Clothes is now inside necklaces which is a neat idea. In the original series, Seiya have to carry the clothes in the Pandora boxes which sometimes obstruct them.

The villain, Mars which I believe is from the planet Mars and it means the enemies are from the Solar System like Jupiter, Saturn, etc. Nothing is revealed since Mars' purpose is to abduct Athena and use her Cosmos which is this series "Ki, Chakara or Ritsu" whichever you want to call it.

I probably watch another episode to see how it goes but given that the original series are long running series, I might drop it if they go beyond the 26 episodes mark. Before we end, Seiya said this at the preview-"Can you feel the Cosmos in you?" See you! (By the way, who watch this show at 6.30 in the morning?)
