Tropical Rouge Precure Ep 6 Review: The Tropical Club!

Hi, Everyone! This is my review of Tropical Rouge Precure Episode 6 and the girls' club is finally set up but what exactly are they suppose to do for the club?

Since most of you have watched the episode already, I just gave my thoughts about it. I actually like the girls including Manatsu has no idea what is their club suppose to do and they came up with all sort of ideas from reading, playing video games, acting like a queen and even make-up lessons.

However, these ideas were rejected by Yuriko who claimed that the school rules does not allow such activities. She even gave them a deadline by end of tomorrow's school dismissal to come up with their club goals.

We are also introduced to the last general who is Elde the shrimp maid voiced by Takagaki Ayahi (Symphogear's Chris and SAO's Lisabeth) and from their interactions among the generals, they do care about each other unlike last season, where the Byogens generals are scheming against each other.

The second half of the episode has the girls saw four school Alumni looking for the Penguin statue that was left in the shed last episode and claimed they left a time capsule item inside the statue. The statue was sold away to a recycle store and the girls rushed to look for it.

The statue actually turned into a Yaranade which was behind by Numeri's energy sphere in the last episode and the girls have a group transformation and also a group pose in this episode. After the battle, the Alumni found their item which happened to be a photo in their younger days. Manatsu also came up with the club's goals which is to do an important thing every day.

Although Yuriko found their goal to be vague, the Alumni also endorsed for the club to be established. Yuriko finally agreed to their terms for now but she will be watching them in the future. With that, the club was finally established...

We do get to see the four girls' interests and how not everyone can follow everyone's pacing. Although, I love how everyone crowds around Asuka as she is playing a spoof version of Animal Crossing and she was embarrassed by their ogling. I also love Manatsu's reactions when she was rejected by Yuriko three times and walk backwards to the club.

I also loved how the girls were proud of helping the Alumni in finding their time capsule item which could be foreshadowing how in the future or the finale, the girls might have a similar situation to remember the times together.

The battle this week was nothing spectacular but you can tell that every girl has their own roles to play. Cure Coral is the Tank, Cure Papaya is the Stunner, Cure Flamingo is the Hard Hitter and Cure Summer is the Finisher.

Overall, this episode has some character development and the introduction of Elde which we get to see her more in battle in the next episode. Also in the next episode, Kururun came to aid Laura and even gave the girls their first team attack. Until then, take care and see you in the next post!
