Healin' Good Precure Ep 43 Review: The Fight For Our Future! Part 1

Hi, Everyone! This is Episode 43 of Healin' Good Precure and this is it! The final three episodes to the finale!

Neo Byogen used his new powers to corrupt the entire town causing everyone (Humans and Elements spirits) to feel weak. The girls tried their best to stop him but he has a powerful barrier that reflects all attacks.

Neo Byogen waste little effort to force the girls to de-transform back. Shinodine tried to capture Latte when suddenly Queen Teatine appeared to save her. Neo Byogen could sense that Queen Teatine is not back to full strength however she has a plan to hold him as she called out her subjects to create a barrier to contain the infection.

Queen Teatine ordered the girls and their partners to retreat for a counter-attack which Asumi used a wind spell to send them out of the barrier. As the girls recovered, Asumi suggested using a Mega part on herself in order to get back to the barrier but Latte and Nodoka were against it. Asumi then explained she is not truly human so there won't be much effect on her.

The girls finally agreed when Shinodine attacked them. The girls transformed and tried to get a Mega part from her. Shinodine knew what they are up to and used the Mega part on herself that make her stronger and faster.

The girls were fighting hard against her until Cure Sparkle managed to distract her enough by calling up King Byogen's name which irritated Shinodine (since she prefers Neo Byogen) and the girls used Healing Arrow to force her back to her original form.

However, they're still unable to get her Mega part until Latte told them to use Healing Oasis in which Cure Earth held Shinodine enough to absorb the blast and it turns Shinodine into an Element Spirit. (I think) Asumi then absorbs Shinodine into her body and the girls now prepare to face Neo Byogen one more time...

This episode is more of how powerful Neo Byogen is and his master plan was to infect the entire planet starting with the girls' town. I was expecting Queen Teatine and the Healing animals to do more in this episode but they are on barrier duty since the only hope rests on the girls and their partners.

Asumi's plan to take in a Mega part was a bit surprised but it makes sense since she is not really a human so it doesn't affect her that much but then it took this long for Asumi to have such development which was disappointing as her character didn't do much after her initial appearance.

Shinodine's fight was kinda rush as she becomes a more devilish form of herself and was defeated all in the same episode. But we now know what Shinodine was originally used to be. I was expecting a human but instead, she is some kind of spirit. I guess we probably will never know how she came to be since we have two episodes left to the finale.

So, next episode is the final battle against Neo Byogen followed by the Epilogue episode which Cure Summer will probably guest star and receive the baton from Cure Grace. Until then, stay safe and see you in the next post!

  2. Sometimes I asked myself: why enemies don't attack like in this episode in earlier episodes. I mean, not the leader, in here King Byogen, but they followers.
