Cure Cosmo was able to take on Aiwan with ease when suddenly Darkest arrived as an energy cloud! Darkest took over Aiwan's body and mind making her more dangerous than before!

Hikaru could sense that Aiwan is in pain and decided to save her instead. The rest of the girls agreed and transform again! However Darkest has made all the foot soldiers even stronger giving the girls a hard time!

Kappard mocked Cure Star that her feelings alone is not enough to defeat them but somehow Cure Star was able to overcome his taunting and even recover the Aries Princess pen!
Cure Star tried to use Aries Star Punch on Aiwan but it didn't work. Instead she was knocked out and almost got smashed by Aiwan when Cure Cosmo save her!
Cure Cosmo also realised that Aiwan might be responsible for her planet's fate however Darkest taking Aiwan's mind away is far worse! Her feelings was also able to create her own item- The Rainbow Perfume!
The Aries Princess Pen reacted to the Rainbow Perfume and Cure Star passed it to Cure Cosmo! Cure Cosmo combined the two items and fired the Precure Rainbow Splash on Aiwan! Aiwan was finally restored back to her own normal self.

After Darkest retreated, Aiwan was still her stubborn self and swore to get back on Cure Cosmo! She even stole her ship and retreated with Kappard. The girls then revived the Aries Princess and Blue Cat asked both the Aries and Taurus Princess is it possible to restore her planet in which it is possible with all the Princess pens and Fuwa.
Blue Cat want to work alone to find the Princess pens but realised she has no spaceship and the girls welcome her to join them back to Earth which she reluctantly agreed.

At the same time, Darkest has revived to his physical form and all his followers bowed to him as he swore to get all the Princess pens and defeat the Precures!
As the girls returned back to Earth, Prunce offered Blue Cat his donuts since he is still a fan of her which she accepted it. Blue Cat also revealed her real name-Yuni and the girls welcome her to the team and Earth...
We finally come to the conclusion of Cure Cosmo's arc and it is pretty good one for a Sixth Ranger arc. Although not as emotional like Ruru from last season but still Yuni/Cure Cosmo (which we will now refer her for now on) has quite a back story. From being the sole survivor of a dead planet to infiltrate the ranks of the Knot Raiders, Yuni has survived a lot on her own.
Cure Cosmo's debut and her finisher are pretty flashy as expected since she represent the Rainbow Spectrum and with a naughty cat personality, it really does match her character. Darkest is pretty impressive for the big bad of the series and we finally get a boss villain that doesn't sit till the end of the series or being a human villain like the last three seasons we have.
His overall design reminds me of Cobra Khan from G.I Joe or King Hiss from the 2003 Masters of the Universe series. (But then we are on Episode 21 and Darkest might be a red herring and we already get a Second ending which I am suspecting we might get one more ending before the end of the series)
Darkest is also pretty evil since he took Aiwan's mind and body as he claimed that all imaginations should be eliminated and Cure Star understand that without imaginations or dreams, we cannot move forward.
Overall, it was a pretty good arc and Yuni joining Team Star Twinkle as Cure Cosmo and probably assuming a human identify for the time being on Earth. Next episode, Hikaru's father has finally returned overseas and already discovered Lala and Fuwa are aliens! But Hikaru's grandfather isn't happy about his return.
