Horray! Horray! This is my review of Hugtto Precure Ep 42 and Henri is preparing for his upcoming skating performance...
No 3: Henri's Downfall!
As the girls were preparing for Henri and Homare's upcoming performance, Homare noticed Henri's performance was not up to par and he admitted that he has a leg injury that is hindering him. Homare advised him not to enter the performance but he insisted claiming it is his last chance.
Later, Henri had a road accident and ended with a cast on his left leg. Homare and Masato tried to empathize with him but he shunned them out. It was then Ristle appeared and offered him a place in Crisis.
No 2: Henri vs Hugtto Precure! (Kinda of?)
Ristle brought Henri to the skating rink where his fans were upset over his accident. The negative energy from the fans create an Oshimaida and placed Henri inside a crystal case. The girls went to battle and tried to free Henri and defeat the Oshimaida at the same time.
Cure Yell tried to get through him telling him that we might fall some time but we must also learn how to get up from our failures. The rest of the girls gave their powers to Cure Yell's Mirai Bracelet and it awaken Henri from the crystal case. It also granted Henri into a similar outfit like the girls which he proclaimed himself as Cure Infini!
Of course, we got Cure Infini and all he does was distract the Oshimaida enough for the girls to finish the Oshimaida off. After that, Masato caught hold of Henri as he was glad that he leave an impact on the skating rink on a high note...
No 1: Yell means Feather in French?!
Throughout the episode, Hana was trying to support Henri and Homare in their performance but was doing too hard. It was until he met Charaleet at the park which he claimed that Hana should be sincere of her support and not to get technical on details. He also thank her for saving his soul when he became an Oshimaida.
After the battle, Henri explained to the three girls about how each of them have "Wings" like Cure Etolie which means stars in the sky, Cure Ange which is obvious since she is an angel at heart and Cure Yell which the Japanese Kanji is Eru which means Feathers in French.
This make Hana more confidence in supporting everyone however Homare has a sense of anxiety for her upcoming performance...
This episode is okay but like the previous Emiru/Ruru episode a bit rushed. One is Henri's build up leading to him succumb to Crisis. Although we knew in previous episodes that Ristle tried to recruit Henri and even showed that Henri has a leg injury. It was forgotten about it until last week episode which was hinted at the end and preview.
Next I felt that Homare/Cure Etolie should be the one to get through to Henri during the battle since they were childhood rivals and she herself has setback in the earlier episodes (Remember the first few episodes?) and could relate what Henri is going through right now.
Although I like the message from Cure Yell of how things might not go smoothly but it is how we adapt it and move forward for a better future which leads to Henri getting his one-off dream of being a Precure. (And No, Julio/Cure Waffles is the first Male Precure not Henri)
Furthermore, it was an one-off thing and Henri is back in the hospital after the whole thing was over. Of course, if the final battle require some moral support, Henri might return as Cure Infini. Who knows?
We also noticed that Ristle still follow George after his injuries since he has already gone too deep in the abyss. Although George now know that Hana is the one who keep ruining his plans, it is no brainier that Hana will be targeted before the final battle like how Dyspear tried to brainwash Haruka in Go Princess Precure.
Next is Homare getting ready for her performance after Henri has step down. But Bishin is determined to get rid of Homare and take back Harry from her. Until then, see you in the next post!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'd like just to add something to your review (which are really good btw).
The word Yell (or eru in japanese) is "aile" in french which means like the others : wings.
Feather in french means "plume" and it's the parts of the wings.
So for henri the 3 of them have wings. (We've seen already those of Saaya and Homare but not those of Hana yet).
I used to think that Hana's is optimistic too much.
ReplyDeleteBut this episode clearly she aware/realize that future not alway bright but you need to move on not stuck in the past that why she cheer up people.
