Go Princess Precure Ep 28 Top 3 Moments and Review: The Secret of the Lost Keys Part 1

Gokigenyou! This is my review of Go Princess Precure episode 28 and today the girls went to have some Sun, Sand and Sea at a private beach!

No 3: The Sun, the Sand and the Sea!

The girls arrived at a private beach resort on a island owned by Minami's family and the girls enjoyed every moment of it! From playing beach volleyball, making sandcastles, cutting watermelon and every activities under the sun. However Towa has a secret that she refused to say to everyone...

No 2: Towa and Yui's Pep Talk.

Yui told the others that she can't swim and went to do some drawing. Towa who can't swim either was too scared to admit and ran off. (Although Minami and Kirara could guess that she can't swim in the first place except Haruka who was surprised)

Towa saw Yui holding her sketch book and was amazed that Yui drew beautiful pictures of them enjoying the Summer holiday. Yui admitted that she admired Haruka and the others as Precures and despite unable to fight, she is glad to have friends like them and hope they will be together. Towa also admitted she can't be honest like Yui and too admired her courage.

No 1: The Stolen Dress up Keys and the Appearance of a New Key!

Lock appeared and turned Yui into a Zetsuborg depsite her trying to fight it. Towa went into battle as Cure Scarlet while the other three girls faced clones of Lock who took them on. Despite battling alone, Towa managed to gain enough strength after the Zetsuborg nearly crushed Yui's sketch book and defeated the Zetsuborg.

Meanwhile, Cure Flora and the others defeated Lock but he created shadows and went through the three girls before retreating. Because of the bond between Towa and all her friends, a new Dress up key appeared from the sketch book. Towa suggested that Yui is like the Sun to them and named it the Sun Key.

It was then Haruka, Minami and Kirara discovered that their keys were stolen by Lock...

Cure Twinkle take center stage in the ending credits!

I thought this episode will be another filler but instead it is the start of a new arc-The appearance of the Sun Key! So before we go further, I realised that the last five episodes including this one centered around Towa's bond with Haruka, Minami, Kirara, the two fairies and Yui.

As what Towa explained during the fight, after her advent as Cure Scarlet, she learned what is like to have friends. From Haruka who offered her hand to save her soul, Minami who told her not to fear the darkness, Kirara who is there to give a cheer and Yui whose honesty got Towa to respect her. The bond that they had created the new key-The Sun Key but what does it do?

However we got bigger problems as Lock used the oldest and overused trick to defeat the Precures! By stealing their transformation items, the girls are defenseless now. (Gee, I didn't see that coming like from a certain Spring Carnival Movie which I hope to talk about it in the future!)

Overall, I gave this episode a B since now the girls have to figure out what to do without their keys. But they discovered a lead which led them to the school's forest and met three special girls. Who are they and what is their connection to the Sun Key? Find out next week for the continuation of this arc! Go Princess Precure Ep 27 Top 3 Moments and Review: A Mid-Summer Night's Cheer

Gokigenyou! This is my review of Go Princess Precure episode 27 and today is the town's summer night festival!

No 3: Let the Night festival begins!

Basically the girls dressed up in Yukata for the summer festival. After helping out in their school's stall, Haruka and Yui met up with Minami and enjoyed the festive mood. Haruka even helped Kisaragi win a Puff doll (created by Shirogane herself) at a game stall.

Kirara looked great in a Yukata (Actually anything she wear looked great!)

They then spotted Kirara and Towa posing for a magazine and the two girls joined them. Although I realised that Towa has long pointy ears. Wouldn't that attract attention but the people in Precure Universe are a little oblivious to minor details...

No 2: Yuki and Haruka on a group date!

After bumping into Haruka, Yuki decided to treat the girls in the festival. However Yuki's friends told him that they need to go back early for the tennis in camp training the next day. Yuki did not want to go now which surprised Haruka as she knew he prioritize tennis than anything else.

Although they were enjoying themselves, Haruka spotted a bandage on Yuki's elbow but he told her to ignore it. However Yuki's fangirls dragged Haruka to the side and explained that Yuki injured his elbow during training and was feeling down. The fangirls wanted Haruka to cheer him up however Yuki overheard everything and told them off including Haruka.

No 1: Cure Flora reprimanded Yuki on being immature!

As Yuki was about to leave, Shut has turned the fangirls into Zetsuborgs. Haruka and the others quickly transform to battle. During the battle, Cure Flora took Yuki away from the fight and was about to join back when Yuki asked her why are they fighting for?

Cure Flora replied that they are fighting to protect everyone's dreams. He was envious of them and blamed on his injury. His coach refused to allow him to play any matches because of his injury and felt the in-camp training was a waste of time.

Cure Flora reprimanded him for being immature that matches can be play again but everyone is concerned about him and he shouldn't be sensitive over such a setback. Yuki realised what she meant and even aid them during the fight.

After the battle, Cure Flora and the other quickly disappeared infront of him and when the fireworks came out, he wondered how did Cure Flora knew his name? But he forgot about it soon after...

Although this episode felt like a filler but it developed more on Haruka and Yuki's relationship. It may not have the next step in their relationship but I can tell that Yuki had a thing for Cure Flora although his attitude towards Haruka is still at the status quo.

But you can tell that Haruka has matured a lot since she first met Yuki and was able to give him a pep talk. She like the "Cool" Yuki and was disappointed that Yuki behaved like a jerk for a while. But thanks to her talk, Yuki was able to stand up and even aid them during the battle. Yuki's fangirls who were enemies to Haruka even come up to her for help which showed they respect her since she knew Yuki much longer than them.

The rest of the episode is just fan service since we get to see the girls in Yukata. Haruka and Yui looked like lively schoolgirls, Minami has a mature aura while Kirara and Towa are sexy!

This week's ending is with Cure Mermaid.

Overall, I gave this episode a C plus. The battle was all right since the girls are against Cheerleaders Zetsuborg and Shut decided that he is fighting for Dyspear rather than Lock which I am sure he will be displeased. Next week, it is the beach episode and everyone is in swimsuits (Another Fan service episode!) But don't expect the girls to wear outrageous swimsuit since it is still a kid's show not a midnight anime show! Go Princess Precure Ep 26 Top 3 Moments and Review: A New Chapter Begins!

Gokigenyou! This is my review of Go Princess Precure episode 26 and today Puff and Aroma are going to show that they are no pushovers!

No 3: Towa fell ill and the girls are away!

Towa caught a fever at the dorms and no one is around due to the holidays. Puff and Aroma tried to their best to help her like putting her to bed and cooling down her temperature. Aroma quickly Haruka and the others who were out with their families or job and they informed they will rushed as soon as they can.

Even Miss Shamour who was with Haruka was worried and got Aroma to come to her side to collect some herb tea leaves for Towa. Puff was cute (I really want to hug her) as she tried her best to take care of Towa but things are going to get really weird after this...

No 2: Puff/Aroma vs a Cicada Zetsuborg!

Shut who is looking out for victims to feed on the despair gauge found a Cicada on a tree. He turned it into a Zetsuborg (which is probably the smallest Zetsuborg up to date) and went around the dorms making noise.

Puff who was with Towa tried to confront them and with a net on her hand, she tried to catch the Zetsuborg (Animal Crossing Time!) that let me eyes opened! Suddenly the Zetsuborg became slightly bigger and Aroma joined the fight.

However the Zetsuborg was about to pound them when suddenly a miracle happened to both Puff and Aroma!

No 1: Puff and Aroma-Official Royal Fairies Power!

Puff is so cute in a dress!

Because of their determination to protect Towa, the Royal Crest in their bodies granted them powers. Puff wore a maid dress and was able to stand on two feet while Aroma wore like a Butler. Their aura also gave Haruka and the other girls (Including Towa) an energy boost that heal their tiredness. (Since the girls ran all the way back to the dorm)

Look like Cure Scarlet took lessons from Kamen Rider V3's Fire Kick or Ultraman Leo's Leo Kick!

The Zetsuborg became larger and the girls went to battle with it. However the Zetsuborg used sonic waves to disrupt their movements. Puff went to cover her ears (Literately!) and together with Aroma knocked the Zetsuborg off balance. The girls then finished it quickly.

Later Miss Shamour claimed that this is the first time for the Royal Fairies to have a "Dress Up" form and their aura actually restore peoples health and tiredness. Towa was proud of them and they shared a moment together...

I was expecting a filler episode with Puff and Aroma getting into trouble and the girls have to come to save the day but instead this is a lovely episode for the two Royal fairies. Usually the mascots in Precure series are kinda of useless but these two fairies have shown that they can now aid the Precures in time of need.

Let's start off with some moments that I didn't mentioned. Like how Towa was being herself when nobody was in the dorms. From dancing in the hallway and sliding on the stairs, you can tell she want to let go of her Princess persona and just being herself.

So what were Haruka and the others doing when Towa fell ill? Haruka was with her family at an exhibition, Minami was at sea with her older brother, Wataru and Kirara...doing a modeling job. However the moment they learnt Towa fell ill, they rushed back to the dorms. If Puff and Aroma didn't got their new form, the girls will be out of breath and might have problems dealing with the Zetsuborg.

Speaking of the Zetsuborg, Shut was really out of luck since he couldn't find any humans to become a Zetsuborg and had to resort to turning a Cicada into a Zetsuborg (Which by the way, the Cicada's dream is fly in the sky) When he heard that Towa was ill, (and he still called her Twilight) he was more determined to get her back. Although I was hoping he has a change of heart for a moment and stop fighting but it is not going to be easy to convince him (Why couldn't he be like those Super Sentai villains who are honorable and had a change of heart to show off his character?)

Of course, the biggest change in this episode is the opening and ending! The opening has so many things that are coming up in the next few weeks. We have the four girls together now facing the Hope Kingdom Castle. Lock is the new antagonist with Shut and two new generals. (Which I am guessing they are twins and someone online actually called them the Mickey Twins because of their big ears)

Instead of more people overcrowding the walking scene, it just showed all the supporting cast in the sky as the four girls walked together. There is a shot of both Cure Flora and Cure Scarlet back to back facing Zetsuborgs which is now the new status quo.

The ending is a new one with a more upbeat song and the girls dancing around on a stage. Cure Flora actually show off her singing voice but I still prefer the previous ending since it is more grander. Maybe after a few more times, I might get used to it. But my god, what is it with the bad CG? I know it is now being used in the latest movies but come on, they couldn't get the eyes to look the same!

Overall, I gave this episode a C plus since it is a Puff and Aroma episode with the surprise of them being able to aid the girls in the future. The opening and ending now determine what will happen in the future which I can't wait for it.
