Happiness Charge Precure Ep 22: Fortune Favors the Brave Part 2

 

Queen Mirage watch from her throne the battle between Phantom and Cure Fortune while back on Earth, Cure Lovely and the others have defeated the last group of Saiark in the town. Glasses arrived and told them about Cure Fortune has gone missing with Phantom.

 

This week's Precure to open the show is Cure Beauty-the most beautiful Precure of all! (Pun intended)

 

 

 

 

 

Cure Princess tried looking for her not knowing that Cure Fortune is battling Phantom alone. Blue called the girls on the Cure Comm and suspect that Cure Fortune is in the land of the defeated Precures. He told them to return his lair as he has an idea.

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Cure Fortune was finally defeated and dropped her PreChan Mirror. Phantom recognise it to be Cure Tender's PreChan Mirror. He realised that Iona was Cure Tender's sister and during her last battle, she shielded Iona from his attack and was defeated. He destroyed her Precure Card while Iona could not do anything.

 

 

 

Suddenly Cure Princess arrived through a portal with the others. They have earlier prayed with Blue in the Cross Mirror room searching for Cure Fortune. Cure Lovely and Cure Honey hold off Phantom while Cure Princess gave all the PreCards they have collected so far to Iona. She apologise to Iona for causing everything to happen but hope she can used the cards to save her sister.

 

 

 

 

Iona thought that Cure Princess wanted to use the cards to save her kingdom but she is willing to sacrifice it for Iona's sake. Cure Princess then joined the others to fight Phantom. Iona realised how stubborn she was and decided to use the cards to save everyone. Her wish was granted and the Fortune Piano appeared.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She used it to transform to the new Cure Fortune and stood up for the others when they were defeated. Her new powers was overwhelming against Phantom and she defeated him with Fortune Tambourine and Starlight Ascension. She also got back Cure Tender's PreChan mirror from him too.

 

 

Phantom refused to give up despite being badly injured when suddenly Queen Mirage arrived in front of them...

 

As a continuation of last week's episode, Iona is the central character as she finally realised that she can't fight alone in this war and it was because of the others, she was able to regain her powers and defeated Phantom. Cure Princess apologised to Iona and she is willing to sacrifice the PreCards for Iona's wishes which touched Iona and they are at least in neutral terms rather than the cold shoulder for the last few episodes.

 

Cure Fortune's outfit remains the same but now she used the Fortune Piano to transform which I am suspecting there is more to it other than a transformation item. Fortune Tambourine remind me of Cure Sunshine's Shiny Tambourine except she does a dance which I am sure she hit it on her butt (Yeah, hit those butts! Don't lie, you know you want hit to Cure Fortune's butt with the tambourine all day long)

 

 

 

Queen Mirage's appearance in front of the girls could finally mean she has enough of their tricks and is making her move. However in the next episode preview, the girls returned back to Earth peacefully which I am guessing Blue plead with Queen Mirage for a cease-fire. Although Hime and Princess make amends, they still have a lot to learn about each other as they now begin shopping for goods together in the next episode. Overall, a great episode! Gaworare Ep 12: In the real world, Souta battled alone the angels that is controlling the virtual system although his death flag is still growing, he still fight on with Zero instigating to battle.

 

 

Meanwhile, Nanami found out that no one remember Souta and tried to get with her life. However she was aware of the locked room (Souta's room) that everyone told her it is off limits. Nanami broke the door and found the letter addressed to Souta. Ruri arrived and kiss her which awaken Nanami's real memories.

 

 

She met another version of herself who is Souta's sister. She explained that when the ship accident happened, she split her essence into her, one is Nanami of the Virtual world while the other was captured by Zero. She escaped and hide inside Ruri's body till the time is right. Nanami now know what to do and the other girls also started to remember Souta again.

 

 

 

 

They gathered at the treasure chest that was under the dorm and opened it. A portal was created and they entered. Souta was fighting an endless battle and saw the same cruise ship as it's commanding fleet. He was about to give up when everyone appeared in their battle outfit and told him they are here to bring him back...

 

So the truth is revealed. Nanami is Souta's sister which explained why she is immune to Souta's flag abilities. She sacrifice herself to have her essence to overlook Souta in the virtual world while the other waited in dormant inside Ruri's body. But with everyone here to help Souta, can they reach the happy end flag in the final episode next week?!

 

 

 

Love Live S2 Ep 12: The girls went to the Love Live press conference and draw the position number for the contest. Nico drew the last number which mean they get to perform last. The girls prepare day and night when finally on the eve of the contest, Honoka suggested they have a sleep in at the school which they all agreed.

 

 

 

After dinner, they went up to the rooftop and shouted their wishes to win the contest. The next day, they headed to the contest and get ready. They make their last hurdle and performed in front of everyone.

 

 

 

 

The performance was a success and they were touched in tears backstage. But they could hear the audience asking for an encore and with the help of their schoolmates who brought their spare costumes, they performed their encore and finished the contest...

 

We finally come full circle with the girls finally performing at Love Live. But what will happen now once the curtains has fallen? Although they are disbanding the group after this, what paths will the girls take from now on? No matter what it is, let's cheer for the girls one last time in the finale!

 

 

Marvel Disk Wars Avengers Ep 13: The Avengers and their partners are battling Modok and Crimson Dynamo for the next disk. Hulk and Ed nearly screw up but Akira caught hold of the new disk which happened to be War Machine. He summoned him and War Machine drove the villains away.

 

 

 

The team returned to base where Pepper introduced War Machine/Rhodey to everyone. As they could summoned one disk type at a time. Rhodey accidentally blurted about Tony's secret holiday at Miami which got Pepper all pissed off over Tony.

 

 

The next day, Chris reprimanded Ed for holding the team back which Captain America lectured Chris. He rebutted that he is not his instructor which got Captain America remembering about Bucky. Ed was still upset and he ran out with Hulk while the others headed to the next found disk.

 

 

 

Hawkeye found Ed and started passing remarks about him of being an extra baggage. Meanwhile the others were attacked by Modok and Graviton who they have problems dealing with. Hulk stand up for Ed claiming that he is doing his best to overcome weakness and he trust him. Ed was touched which got Hawkeye to give him a ride to the others.

 

 

 

 

They spotted Graviton which Ed waited for the right moment and summoned Hulk. Hulk used the gravity pull as a spring board and knocked Graviton and Modok unconscious. Akira found the new disk and the villains have to retreat after. The others praised Ed including Chris which he later asked Captain America about Bucky...

 

A continuation from the last episode about Ed overcoming his weakness and Hulk being Hulk, believe in him. I think Hulk know the meaning of being weak as being Bruce Banner, he know the value of life and the mad destruction he caused as the Hulk. So seeing Ed is like seeing a little bit of himself. The mention of Bucky by Captain America could also mean a foresight that the Winter Soldier could be appearing in future episodes which will probably make a good development episode between Captain America and Chris.

 

Hawkeye and War Machine returned in this episode and it was funny to see Tony getting reprimanded by Pepper about Miami which I wondered what happened there? Next episode is Akira and Hikaru's relationship since it mirrored Thor and Loki's relationship. But a villain with whips is attacking them? Who could it be? Find out in the next episode!

Rail Wars: In an alternative Japan where the railway system are not privatize, Naoto enrolled to the Japanese National Railway for a stable career. However he was assigned to the security team with it's odd members and they have to battle an extremist group called RJ who plots to privatize the railway system.

 

 

Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!?: Koutarou was forced to stay in a small rented room due to financial difficulties. What he didn't know was the room is haunted by a young girl spirit and it also attracted other people like a Mahou Shoujo, an Alien Princess among other things...

 

 

Sabagebu!: Momoka was conned into joining her school Survival Game Club with her odd members in an all-girls school. Think C3 but more Shoujo than Shouen.

 

 

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal: As I stated before, it is the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon and they returned to the small screen with better graphics and a storyline closer to the original manga. With Mitsushi Kotone reprising her role as Sailor Moon and her alter ego, Usagi together with a new cast of seiyuu doing the voice of the inner senshi. Prepare to be amazed like it was 1994 all over again!

 

 

Sword Art Online 2: One of the most anticipated shows for 2014. Kirito return to the MMORPG world as he tried to solve the mysterious deaths of players who were "killed" by a player with a "Dark Gun" in the game-Gun Gale Online. But with Kirito dressing up as a feminine avatar, can he survive this gun with only an army survival knife?

 

 

Zankyou no Terror: The Tokyo Area was destroyed by a terrorist group named Sphinx. However unknown to the world, Sphinx is actually make up of two teenage boys named Nine and Twelve who have their own motives to shake the world...

Tokyo Ghoul: Kaneki Ken met a girl Rize who happen to be a ghoul-a creature that feed on human flesh to survive. However both of them were hit by falling metal beans and Rize died. Ken instead received a transplant from Rize's organs which granted him the power of a ghoul. Now struggling to fight his ghoul side, he learned about the dark side of the city where ghouls existed among humans...

So there are the shows that are coming up in the beginning of July onwards. I know I missed out several shows like Bakumatus Rock, Shounen Hollywood, Dramatical Murder, Black Butler: Book of Circus which are bishounen series, 5 minutes episodes series like Yama no Susume Season 2, Ai Mai Mi Season 2 are not in this list.

What are you looking for this summer? Sailormoon Crystal is a definite Yes but since Nico Nico which is airing the show is only showing two episodes per month, it will take 13 months to finish the series.

Back when I started this blog, someone actually wrote in the comment section that I should do Persona 4 but back then, I didn't play the game until last year on my PS Vita. I really enjoyed the game and watched the original Persona 4 animation that came out a few years back. So when I heard that P4 Golden is going to be on the small screen with my favourite heroine, Marie as the center character, I was happy and yes, I will do a review on it when it aired.

I just started reading Akame ga Kill to prepare for this preview and I have said it is pretty hardcore and dark. Because no one is perfectly sane including Tatsumi, the male lead who can be ruthless when being pushed to a corner. Akame herself is the silent one but she has a dark past that is bound to haunt her in the future. I also started reading Tokyo ESP and so far, it has been pretty interesting with a plucky female lead and an overprotective father with magnetic powers.

Other shows like Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance, Re_Hamatora, Momo kyun Sword, Fate Kaleid Season 2, Rail Wars (Which I saw the promo video last year in Japan and it looked good) and Rokujouma no Shinryakusha are in my radar as I have read some of the manga version of it or following it from the previous season.
