Kill La Kill Ep 16: Satsuki returned to her home and her mother, Ragyo showed the true form of the Life Fibers. Meanwhile, Mikisugi brought Ryuko and Mako to a secret area of their base and explained that the life fibers are actually aliens that landed on Earth millions of years ago.
The aliens has the ability to suck life force out of humans however as human evolved, their presence became dormant until Ragyo discovered them twenty years ago. Ryuko's father discovered their purpose and create the Nudist Beach and Senketsu to counter them.
Senketsu was worried that he is only a weapon and Ryuko was against using him to kill his own kind. She removed Senketsu which caused Tsumgu to aim his gun at her claiming she is a liability if she step down...
We have aliens that suck life forms if we wear their clothes. Ragyo exploited and create her empire to rule the world. Although Satsuki obey her mother but why I have a feeling she will go against her in the future since Ragyo is power crazy. Ryuko refused to battle was also a big question since she and Senketsu share a bond together but I doubt she will give in to fighting the life fibers. But with Ragyo's order to Satsuki to start the Cultural festival in school claiming it is the final phase, I am sure things are going to spur out of control in the future episodes...
Samurai Flamenco Ep 15: The fake Masayoshi claimed that everything is a lie and the Flamengers will fall in the future. He kill himself and all the monsters disappeared. The Flamengers quickly attack the giant drill with Flamen Robo and managed to escape when the drill is destroyed.
The Flamengers were congratulated as heroes and went their own separate ways. When Masayoshi was visiting his grandfather's graves, he was surrounded by special forces who want to arrest him. Suddenly a masked man named Mr Justice arrived to save him. The rest of the Flamengers were arrested and Aoishima was defeated by the Prime Minister. (who seems to have super strength)
Mr Justice explained that his country America suffered the same fate as Japan and it was the government who created From Beyond in order to distract the people from the overseas wars. Masayoshi was forced to escape while Mr Justice stayed behind to hold off the special forces. The Prime Minister then ordered all masked characters to be arrest and framed Masayoshi for the whole alien invasion and is now on the wanted list...
So it was all a big lie created by the government in order to gain support but since the Flamengers ruined their plan, they decided to make a scape goat out of Masayoshi and make him the most wanted man now. Mr Justice even claimed the monsters were nothing more than Hollywood special effects. But the most strangest thing is the Prime Minister is not human at all which I am thinking he is the true evil in the series. But can Masayoshi clear his name and save the country before all is lost?
Wake Up, Girls! Ep 4: A loyal fan of Mayu tried to rally support for her though the social media but most of them were against Mayu's return. Meanwhile, I-One has just fired four of their members and replace with new ones. The regulars in the group discussed about Mayu's comeback and one of the girls, Megumi wished Mayu well in her comeback.
A magazine reporter got an interview with the girls but instead try to probe more on Mayu's past. She got upset which led Tange to beat up the reporter and chase him away. Tange told Mayu that whatever her past is, she must learn to overcome it while the girls learned about the bad press Mayu has been getting. Later, Mayu met her former teammate, Shiho in the street...
I think I-One is suppose to be based on real life Idol group-AKB48 and seeing how the manager discipline them like a military unit, it is no brainier that tensions will rise and they replace members easily since they have reserves to continue. Megumi is the only one who welcome Mayu back since she is with her when Mayu was dismissed from I-One. Mayu is also facing stress at home as her mother is against her being an idol again and with the reporter revealing that she was involved in a scandal, only time will tell if Mayu will overcome her troubles plus seeing Shiho in the street is definitely going to be awkward for both of them...
Log Horizon Ep 18: Lenessia was amazed by the lights and sounds of Akihabara. After making her wearing a battle dress, she was introduced by Shiroe and Crusty to all the adventurers. She tried to rally them to help in defeating the monsters despite no rewards and everyone agreed to help because of her sincerity.
As Shiroe and Crusty led the adventurers to battle, Sergiatte explained to Michitaka and Henrietta that the nobles have no intention in making the Round Tables to be nobles but rather want a peace and trade treaty with them. However both of them decided to wait till the battles is over instead.
Naotsuge and his group make their stand at the city against the monsters while Crusty and Lenessia led a large force on board a ship to assist them...
Lenessia's worries were unnecessary as the adventurers were actually waiting for such a big event to show off their skills. Crusty led one group while Shiroe led another to defend another land. Will the two groups be able to overcome the enemies with Naotsuge's group holding the line against impossible odds?
Witch Craft Works Ep 5: Honoka's mother, Komachi explained to him that Kagari's mother, Kazane and her have a romantic relationship in their teens but since they couldn't get marry, they decided to marry off Honoka and Kagari together instead.
Honoka followed Kagari to her home despite Kasumi's protest. When they arrived, Medusa has already invaded her home and attack Kagari. She got pertified which force Honoka to use the medicine that Chronoire gave.
It revealed a lady in white named Evermillion and she managed to knock off Medusa out of the building and destroying everything in the process. Honoka want Evermillion to heal Kagari and is willing to sacrifice his eyes for it. But she refused and told him to kiss her in order to lift the spell.
He kissed her in the cheeks and Kagari recovered. She defeated Medusa and the rest of the tower witches with ease. Kagari later kissed Honoka in the cheek and told him not to be foolish again. The two of them instead stay at Honoka's home while Kasumi and her allies arrested all the Tower Witches including Chronoire...
Well, not even the most feared Medusa is no match against Kagari. But we finally get to see the "white stuff" that Honoka has and it is Evermillion AKA the White Princess. Evermillion was extremely powerful but Honoka has not mastered her powers fully. Although a little point is that Kagari claimed they met each other when they were young but has little memories about them, claiming someone has erased it which I believed it is connected to Evermillion. So how will Honoka's family will react since Kagari is staying with them now? Things is going to be hot in the next episode!
Buddy Complex Ep 5: The Zogilia forces gathered near the ocean as they plan their attack on Chitose Base. Meanwhile, Aoba was given a "newcomer" training as ordered by Kuramitsu and was made to clean the ship.
Aoba spotted Fiona and her guardian trying to enter the ship to see Dio but were denied. He met her and she explained that Dio blamed himself for failing to save their mother and Fiona's legs when the Zogilia forces attacked their home. Aoba faked a stomachache and Fiona managed to sneak in.
When they arrived on the bridge, they were greeted by everyone for Aoba's newcomer party. Fiona spoke Dio thru the comm and told him it is not his fault. Suddenly Zogilia forces were approaching the base and Aoba, Dio and Jarl sortie out while Fiona returned to her father.
Hina also arrived and battle Aoba but he refused to fight with her. The Cygus were boxed in both sides and Dr Elvria suggested to use a new skill from the two pilots. Aoba and Dio sync up and create a barrier to fight their way out enemy lines. They were successful and everyone escaped. Later Dio thank Aoba for making up with Fiona and him...
A pretty decent episode while learning about Dio's past and how his relationship with his family was. Aoba could understand how both Dio and Fiona feel and actually brought them together to make up. Hina was determined to defeat Aoba since she was humiliated by him which hopefully this matter will be resolved soon. Other than a new skill which resemble a giant bullet wave that is impervious to enemy fire, this episode is pretty subtle although I was a bit worried for a moment that Fiona might have rise a death flag after she told Dio not to worry...
