It's confirmed! Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Crystal the series will be out on July 2014!

After one year of delay and no news from Toei studio, we finally get our first look at the new Sailormoon series! Titled Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Crystal, it is a reboot of the original 1992 anime series.

The synopsis is basically the retelling of the first season with Tsukino Usagi meeting Yuna the black cat and granted superpowers to become Sailormoon. Usagi's mission is to find the other Sailor Senshi and the legendary Silver Crystal to defeat Queen Beryl.

This new reboot will follow closer to the manga series rather than the anime series as confirmed by the staff. So get ready this summer as we return to the genre that started the Henshin/Sentai Heroines series.
